Leaves of Sympathy

There are so many great designer series paper options in the Occasions and Sale-a-bration catalogs!  It is hard to pick one pattern when I am ready to make a project :)  The paper in the card below is from the Going places designer series paper pack.

I stamped the leaves behind the sentiment using the Number of years stamp set and my sentiments are from Love and Sympathy.

I added a little bit of Lost Lagoon stitched satin ribbon as well.

Love and Sympathy, Number of Years
Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz ink
Early Espresso, Tip Top Taupe, Whisper White card stock

Those Whom We Have Loved...

This is a card that can be put together very quickly if you are in need of a sympathy card and realize you don't have one made already.  I just took some Soft Sky and Midnight Muse scraps and layered them onto a base of Pistachio Pudding.

The sentiment is stamped with Midnight Muse and when I inked my flower image with Soft Sky and Pistachio Pudding markers, I stamped it off on my grid paper before I stamped on my card stock.

Supplies:
Love and Sympathy
Soft Sky, Midnight Muse, Whisper White, Pistachio Pudding card stock
Midnight Muse, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Sky ink

Simple Sympathy

As I have mentioned in the past, I have some trouble with Clean and Simple cards, I always tend to think they need a little something more...

This card is about as Clean and Simple as I get and I do love the way it turned out.  I realized I hadn't used my Serene Silhouettes stamp set in awhile and came up with this card this afternoon (it might just show up in my stamp a stacks soon as well!).

I used Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla card stock and really like the combination of the colors and stamps.

Supplies:
Serene Silhouettes, Love and Sympathy

June Stamp Club projects

This month, I focused on some Gingham Garden dsp and Gingham Garden washi tape for the layout and one of the cards.

On the layout, I used the Morning Meadow hostess stamp set for some Daffodil Delight flowers as an accent.

On the first card, the stamp set used is Happy Day and I put some washi tape on a scrap and then punched out my butterfly and added some basic rhinestones to it.

The last project was a sympathy card using some new colors (Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe) and the Simply Sketched and Love and Sympathy stamp sets.

Have a wonderful day!

More Stamp A Stack cards

These are the final two cards I used in my Stamp A Stack last week.  The first uses the upcoming Sale-a-bration designer series paper called Everyday Enchantment along with the Love and Sympathy stamp set.  It is a Z fold card and was actually very quick and simple to make.

The last card is one I CASED from Maureen Merritt and altered slightly.  I just love her cards!!

The stamp sets used on this one are Just Believe and Friendly Phrases.

One layer

I have a quick one layer card for you today using clear block stamping.  The stamp set I used is Love and Sympathy and I combined it with Peach Parfait, Poppy Parade, Early Espresso and Wild Wasabi inks and markers.

There is a second sentiment added on the inside of the card as well.

Sometimes I find it difficult to create one layer and clean and simple cards, but I like the way this one turned out.

Simple Frame Idea

On this project, I decided to give a frame that I have been using for a picture a new purpose.  I took a 5" x 7" piece of Soft Suede Card stock to use as my base and then decorated with Beau Chateau designer series paper and the Love and Sympathy stamp set.

A few punches, some ribbon and layers and I have a quick little decorative frame.
