Kind and Cozy - two ways

I seem to have a difficult time using the Kind and Cozy stamp set even though I really like the images.  For some reason, I just can't figure out fun ways to use it most of the time.

One thing I really like about the set is the circle that you pop out when you mount the image used above - as you can see I used the circle as a stamp as well to add some color to the middle of the outer image.

On each card, I used some scraps of Strawberry Slush that I had embossed with the Honeycomb folder and the circle with its stamped images.

Which one do you like better?

Never too Happy!

Back to the Regarding Dahlias stamp set again and another quick card that I added some washi tape and a fun sentiment to.

You can just stamp an entire sheet of Whisper White with the flower image and cut it down to make 4 quick cards like this.  The Gingham garden washi tape adds a little color and breaks up the image, but card stock or designer series paper would work just as well to give the same effect.

Supplies:
Regarding Dahlias
Yippee Skippee
Primrose Petals, Early Espresso ink
Marina Mist, Primrose Petals, Smoky Slate, Whisper White card stock

June Stamp Club projects

This month, I focused on some Gingham Garden dsp and Gingham Garden washi tape for the layout and one of the cards.

On the layout, I used the Morning Meadow hostess stamp set for some Daffodil Delight flowers as an accent.

On the first card, the stamp set used is Happy Day and I put some washi tape on a scrap and then punched out my butterfly and added some basic rhinestones to it.

The last project was a sympathy card using some new colors (Pistachio Pudding and Crisp Cantaloupe) and the Simply Sketched and Love and Sympathy stamp sets.

Have a wonderful day!

Live the Life

Finally a preview for you from the new catalog!  My preview goodies came on Tuesday but I haven't had a chance to even open it so this morning since the kids were up at 5:45 I thought I would play before work :)

I used the stamp sets Really Good Greetings and Morning Meadow (hostess set) with Island Indigo and Daffodil Delight ink on both cards.

Each one also has a strip of Gingham Garden Designer Washi Tape and Gingham Garden designer series paper along with a Naturals button.

The top card has a layer of Pistachio Pudding card stock (new In color) and the bottom one is Daffodil Delight.

Look for another preview tomorrow!
