Hello You note cards

It is the time of year to start thinking about little gifts for teachers and others who we like to show appreciation to during the holidays.  This little note card holder would be a fun little gift (and you could use cards instead of note cards inside if you wanted as well).

The basic folder is 7" x 10" and scored at 1" on the 7" side  and at 5" on the 10" side.

August Stamp Club

These are the projects we made for stamp club this month using the Hello Lovely, Gorgeous Grunge, Delicate Doilies and Yippee Skippee stamp sets.

The layout uses 2012-2014 In Color dsp and Raspberry Ripple, Whisper White, and Crumb Cake card stock and inks.

The first card uses I Am Me dsp and So Saffron, Calypso Coral and Pool Party card stock.

and the second one uses Season of Style dsp in a way other than for the holidays.

Like these projects?  I have both a local Stamp Club and a Virtual Stamp Club and would love to have you join me!

You're the Best

I have been playing around a lot with the Gorgeous Grunge and Hello Lovely stamp sets that we received free at convention.  On this card I added a punched element using the Chevron border punch and placed some in color dsp behind it.

I am sure I will be showing you a lot of projects with one or the other of these stamp sets, my Stamp Club this month also uses them both and I will share those projects in the next few days as well.

Supplies:
Hello Lovely, Gorgeous Grunge
Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple, Old Olive Pool Party and Smoky Slate classic ink
Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Smoky Slate card stock
2012 - 2014 In color dsp stack
2 1/2" circle punch
Season of Style washi tape
Chevron border punch

Party Time

The Late Night Stampers have a challenge this week to make party themed projects so I decided to make a few cards using the Sketched Birthday stamp set.

For the first card, I used the Positively Chevron background stamp in some Soft Sky ink and added some 2012- 2013 In color Designer series paper (Midnight Muse).  On the first and last card, I used my blender pen to color in the cupcake and piece of cake images.

Next, I used the Tape It stamp set for my background and the Birthday Basics designer series paper to make an invitation card.  I used the Deco labels and Apothecary accents framelits as well.

Lastly, I again used the Deco labels framelits and Birthday Basics dsp to make another birthday card.
