Pocket Graduation Card

We had quite a few graduations to get to this year since the kids are getting older and have friends graduating.  I put together a few of these pocket cards using the Pocket framelits and Pocket Full of Sunshine stamp set.

The background is embossed with the Dot to Dot impressions folder and my sentiment is from the Well Said and Wild About flowers stamp sets.

Pocket of Flowers

This is another of those sentiment free cards...it could be used to cheer someone up, for a birthday, a hello or for lots of other things and the sentiment may be added later or left blank.  I started with the Pocket Full of Sunshine stamp set and coordinating Pocket framelits dies.  The pocket is cut from some Naturally Eclectic designer series paper.

I stamped the outline of the flowers with Fresh Fig ink and then used the stamp to color in with Berry Burst and Daffodil Delight.  The little images around the pocket are in Pool Party and are from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set.  Finally, I added some metallic shapes to the pocket for accents.

Pocket Full of Flowers

This card started out with just the stamped and die cut pocket cut out of some Delightful Daisy designer series paper.  After that, I decided I wanted to pair it with some Wood textures designer series paper and thought the little flowers coming out of the pocket would make it fun.

The flowers are stamped with Basic Black ink and then I added the color with Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Flirty Flamingo ink.

July Stamp Club Projects

This month our stamp club projects used almost all new products from the Idea Book and Catalog with the exception of card stock, ink and the Stitched shapes framelits.

The first card uses the Coffee Break bundle and Coffee Break designer series paper.  I love how you  can die cut the little coffee cup out of the designer series paper!

The second card was created using the Special Occasions stamp set, Eclectic Layers thinlits and some Naturally Eclectic designer series paper. For some accents and texture, we added a few clear faceted gems.

Finally, the layout focuses on the Delightful Daisy designer series paper and Pocket Full of Sunshine bundle.  Again, we used a few of the clear faceted gems as accents.

You Dazzle Me

Pocket Full of Sunshine is a really fun stamp set (and of course it coordinates with the Pockets Framelits for even more possibilities!).  I wanted to make a summer card to use in my next Stamp A Stack so I decided to use the sunglasses image and a little bit of the Foil Frenzy specialty paper.

The sunglasses are colored in with the Tangerine Tango, Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist markers and I added a few neutrals sequins as well.

Dazzling Pocket

I love the new Pocket Full of Sunshine stamp set which bundles with the Pocket framelits dies that is in the new catalog.  It is super cute and there are lots of possibilities...

I chose to use some Eastern Palace specialty paper along with the stamps and framelits on this card.  My pocket contains the sunglasses but you could easily add money, a gift card, pouch of some kind of candy, etc. in there.
