Birthday Cups

Another current Stamp A Stack card - this one using the Coffee Café and Birthday Wit stamp sets along with the Coffee Cups framelits and Coffee Break designer series paper.

Yes, I used the Birthday Wit stamp set again, this time the sentiment is just plain Happy Birthday though!! The dotted image on the sentiment layer is also from that stamp set.

I always love the patterns in the Coffee Break designer series paper and wanted to use this one on a few birthday cards.  The cup itself is also a pattern in the same designer series paper package...

My sentiment comes from the Big on Birthdays stamp set and I used Early Espresso ink for all the stamping.  This is a card that goes together quickly if you want to do multiples, I just get all the pieces ready first and then put them together.

It has been fun playing around with the Coffee Café stamp set and Coffee Cups framelits lately.  I look forward to spending more time using the bundle and finding fun ideas that others have come up with as well!

This card started with a Pool Party base that I stamped some coffee beans on before adding a matted layer of designer series paper.  The Crumb Cake flag behind the coffee cup was a last minute addition because I thought it needed a little something else and looked a bit boring without it.  Lastly the metallic enamel shapes were added to finish the project.

July Stamp Club Projects

This month our stamp club projects used almost all new products from the Idea Book and Catalog with the exception of card stock, ink and the Stitched shapes framelits.

The first card uses the Coffee Break bundle and Coffee Break designer series paper.  I love how you  can die cut the little coffee cup out of the designer series paper!

The second card was created using the Special Occasions stamp set, Eclectic Layers thinlits and some Naturally Eclectic designer series paper. For some accents and texture, we added a few clear faceted gems.

Finally, the layout focuses on the Delightful Daisy designer series paper and Pocket Full of Sunshine bundle.  Again, we used a few of the clear faceted gems as accents.

Happy Father's Day

Now that Father's Day has come and gone I have a card to share with you.  It should probably have been one I posted last week...

I chose to base the card on the Coffee Break designer series paper and the new Pinewood Planks embossing folder.  There are two patterns of the designer series paper behind the embossed card stock and sentiment, one is on the backside of the other in the package.

I sponged the Crumb Cake I embossed with some Soft Suede ink to pop out the impressions and added a wood heart leftover from the Sending Love Embellishments package.
