Pocket Graduation Card

We had quite a few graduations to get to this year since the kids are getting older and have friends graduating.  I put together a few of these pocket cards using the Pocket framelits and Pocket Full of Sunshine stamp set.

The background is embossed with the Dot to Dot impressions folder and my sentiment is from the Well Said and Wild About flowers stamp sets.

Butterfly Serenade

I had some Rectangle stitched framelits die cuts laying around after I made some cards using the reverse pieces and put together this one for Mother's Day (a little early I know!).  For the flower image I used the Southern Serenade stamp set with Basic Gray and Sweet Sugarplum ink.  The sentiment is from the Tea Together stamp set and is punched with the 1" square and postage stamp for matting.

The background is embossed with the Dot to Dot folder and I added some embellishments from the February Paper Pumpkin kit and some Sale-a-bration wooden butterfly embellishments as well.

January Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

This month's Paper Pumpkin kit contained 24 cute little pillow pouches and lots of extra supplies (as always) so after my daughter put together treat pouches for her classmates, I made a couple cards using some of the pieces and the stamps.

For the first one, I added some Whisper White card stock, Smoky Slate card stock that was embossed with the Dot to Dot impressions folder and a piece of Tropical Escape designer series paper.  I also added some white baker's twine that was leftover from a different kit.

For the second card, I added Whisper White card stock and used both Melon Mambo and Pool Party ink for some background stamping.
