Life Together

I was playing with a couple different backgrounds on this wedding card that are fairly similar but one is stamped and the other is designer series paper.  I chose the hardwood stamp for one, using Crumb Cake ink on the same color card stock before I stamped the flourish image with Early Espresso.

On the other card, I used Serene Scenery designer series paper as the background for the flourish.  Both cards use a sentiment from Better Together.

Supplies:
Better Together, Flourishing Phrases, Hardwood
Early Espresso, Crumb Cake ink
Pool Party, Whisper White, Crumb Cake card stock

Simple Thanks

This time of year, more often than not my projects that I share with you can be made fairly quickly since I am usually either just finishing harvest or cleaning up the harvesting equipment about now.  Unfortunately this year we are barely making a dent in the harvest at this point so there may be some days I miss posting too.

I chose the Perfectly Wrapped stamp set for this card as well as the Hardwood large stamp for the background.  There is a layer of Old Olive card stock with some Serene Scenery designer series paper over the top of the hardwood image and I added a little burlap ribbon for texture.

Supplies:
Perfectly Wrapped, Hardwood
Old Olive ink
Old Olive, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Crumb Cake card stock

Hardwood and Butterflies

On the two cards below, I used the same stamp sets but made a couple variations.  On the layer with the flower and the sentiment, I have the Hardwood image in the background but I stamped it off on scrap paper a couple times before I added it to the card stock layer on these cards.

The one on the left has some Night of Navy and Coastal Cabana card stock layered onto it while the other card is just Crumb Cake on itself.

Supplies:
Butterfly Basics, Hardwood
Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Coastal Cabana, Night of Navy card stock
Hello Honey, Night of Navy and Soft Suede ink
Butterflies thinlits
bakers twine

Harvest Blessings Birthday

One of my husband's brothers has the same birthday as I do and we celebrated earlier this week.  This is the card I made for him using the Harvest Blessings, Hardwood and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets.

My base is Crumb Cake and I stamped with Soft Suede on all the pieces.  I thought some Burlap and 5/8" Natural Chevron ribbon would look nice next to the hardwood image so I placed those behind the tractor using sticky strip.  On the right side, there is a Starburst framelit and circle framelit layered.

Supplies:
Harvest Blessings
Itty Bitty Banners
Hardwood
Soft Suede ink
Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pistachio Pudding card stock
burlap ribbon
5/8" natural chevron ribbon
Starburst framelits
Circles framelits
sticky strip

Hardwood Congratulations

Happy Congratulations was one of the stamp sets in the Occasions catalog that really did nothing for me and I was not going to purchase it.  That happens to me during every catalog and more often than not, I see fun examples by other people and completely change my mind.

For this card, I used a small piece of watercolor paper and added some Coastal Cabana ink with my aqua painter.  Then, after it dried, I stamped the image and sentiment with Soft Suede ink.

There are 3 vintage trinkets on the side and the Hardwood image is stamped with Soft Suede ink as well and I added a little sponging with the same color.
