I have a sympathy card to share with you today that uses the Bloom with Hope stamp set and a retired sentiment.

It is one that is currently in my Stamp A Stack collection and has been a hit.  In addition to the retired sentiment, I have used the retired ink color, Primrose Petals.

I randomly stamped some flowers on this one and added a little ribbon and a tag. Quick and simple for a little gift, some goodies or even a gift card.

Bloom with Hope Sympathy

There are a few of the Love Story Project Life cards that I really wanted to have more of so I purchased the digital version in order to print them myself.  That way, I can also re size them to fit my projects.

The lines and flowers next to the sentiment on this card were printed with My Digital Studio and the Love Story Project Life collection, I just reduced the size a little bit.

Color Me Autumn

Well, I actually didn't intend to send you two posts yesterday, but will blame it on lack of sleep :)  Hope you enjoyed them anyway!!

Today I have a card I made for a customer order that uses the Bloom with Hope stamp set and some Color Me Autumn designer series paper.  One thing I really like about the dsp is that it incorporates both Very Vanilla and Whisper White (not on the same designs).  I tend to go more toward Whisper White than Very Vanilla, but I like using them both.

I added a little bow made with the Stitched Satin Blackberry Bliss ribbon as well for a little accent.

Supplies:

Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow ink
Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow and Whisper White card stock

Poppy Sympathy

There is lots of color on color going on with this simple sympathy card.  I have a layer of Crumb Cake on top of a Crumb Cake base and I also used the same color ink to stamp the Pleasant Poppies image.

The sentiment is stamped with Old Olive ink on the same color paper as well.  I always like the effect of color on color and it gives a nice subdued look.

Supplies:
Bloom with Hope, Pleasant Poppies
Crumb Cake, Old Olive ink
Crumb Cake, Old Olive card stock

Watercolored Sympathy

On this sympathy card, I used some watercolor paper and my aqua painter for a washed out background.  The flowers and sentiment are from the Bloom with Hope stamp set (hostess set) and I added some embossed Mossy Meadow card stock behind it.

If you haven't tried this cotton ribbon yet, you don't know what you are missing!  It is really quite easy to work with and looks great on projects as well.

Supplies:

Night of Navy, Strawberry Slush, Marina Mist ink
Mossy Meadow, Watercolor paper and Whisper White card stock

Moving the Deco Label

You have seen this post once, but I will share it again in the right timeframe for the challenge :)  (I had two challenges reversed and posted the wrong one first last time!)

The Late Night Stamper's Challenge right now is movement cards.  Chose to make a deco label move from the outside to the inside when it is opened.

On the front of the card base, I cut half a deco framelit and then used my bone folder to fold the cut half open.  Then I added the same size deco framelit over the top of the cut half (you would just put adhesive on one side right now).

On the inside there are some panels and I attached the other half of the full size deco label to the panel so it looks like this when you open it.

I chose the Flashback designer series paper to decorate the panels and the front and used the Bloom with Hope stamp set on the Deco label and the sentiment.

Supplies:
Bloom with Hope
Kraft card stock
Pool Party, Very vanilla card stock
Wisteria Wonder, Pear Pizzazz and Memento Black inks
Deco label framelits
Flashback dsp
Brights buttons
sticky strip

Simple, Simple

Today's sample is even more simple than yesterday!  I layered a piece of Whisper White onto a Pear Pizzazz base and use the Gorgeous Grunge, Bloom with Hope and Yippee Skippee stamp sets.

To the middle of the flower, I added some Hello Honey ink with a sponge dauber.

Traveler Birthday and Blog Candy Winner

Well we only had 3 people try for my Blog Candy I guess and the winner is Vicki!  Congrats, please e-mail me your mailing address so I can send out your goodies :)

I have chosen a masculine theme for today's card using the Traveler stamp set and Typeset specialty paper.  I layered some modern label punches for my sentiment (from Bloom with Hope) and added a few neutrals buttons as well.

I think this combination of specialty paper and stamp set go together pretty well and will probably use it together often.

Supplies:
Traveler, Bloom with Hope
Black Stazon ink
Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Crumb Cake card stock
Typeset specialty paper
Neutrals buttons

Blended Birthday

Well, here is that Blended Bloom image again, but this time I used some Rich Razzleberry Blendabilities markers on it along with the Daffodil Delight Blendabilities for the center.  I have never worked with alcohol markers before so I have a lot of work ahead of me to master using them!!

The center of the flower is cut out and popped up which gives it a nice 3d effect.  I used a little Moonlight designer series paper and a sentiment from Bloom with Hope.  The ribbon is the Blackberry Bliss stitched satin and it is so easy to work with!

Supplies:
Blended Bloom, Bloom with Hope
Blackberry Bliss ink
Daffodil Delight and Rich Razzleberry blendabilities
Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White, Hello Honey card stock

June Stamp Club projects

It is time to share my monthly stamp club projects with you again!  This time my layout uses elements from the Everyday Adventure Project Life series and my cards are made with new hostess sets - Bloom with Hope and Let Your Hair Down.

In addition to the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack, I also used the Cards and Labels Framelits Dies for the layouts.  There is a little bit of fun stamping on the page on the left as well using the Project Life Point and Click stamp set.

My photo mats and framelit elements are in the colors Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay.

I chose to showcase a couple of new In Colors on this card using Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist.

And finally, I used a little Moonlight designer series paper along with the Let your hair down and Work of art stamp sets.

Like the projects?  I always have room in my monthly stamp club or my virtual clubs!  Come on over and join us!!

2014-2016 In Color Sympathy Cards

I saw some cute samples of cards created with the new 2014-2016 In colors and the Bloom with Hope stamp set on Pinterest made by Kirsteen Gill and the cards below were inspired by those...

On the first set, I used White Craft ink and it is pretty easy to see which colors work the best with this combination - the Hello Honey is a little harder to see than the others.

I just love this stamp set - both the sayings and the images!  It is a hostess set in the new catalog.

Next, I did the same thing with Stazon Black ink and again, one color doesn't work the best with this combination, this time it is the Blackberry Bliss.

Supplies:
Bloom with Hope
Black Stazon, White Craft inks
Whisper White, Hello Honey, Lost Lagoon, Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Tangelo Twist card stock
Modern label punch
