June Stamp Club projects

 

It is time to share my monthly stamp club projects with you again!  This time my layout uses elements from the Everyday Adventure Project Life series and my cards are made with new hostess sets - Bloom with Hope and Let Your Hair Down.

 

In addition to the Everyday Adventure Project Life Card Collection and Accessory Pack, I also used the Cards and Labels Framelits Dies for the layouts.  There is a little bit of fun stamping on the page on the left as well using the Project Life Point and Click stamp set.

 

My photo mats and framelit elements are in the colors Pear Pizzazz, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay.

 

I chose to showcase a couple of new In Colors on this card using Hello Honey and Tangelo Twist.

 

And finally, I used a little Moonlight designer series paper along with the Let your hair down and Work of art stamp sets.

Blended Bloom

 

The flower on this card would probably look better colored in with the new Blendabilities markers (although I like this image like this as well), but I don't have any of them yet!  So, to show you this fun individual stamp without them is what I decided to do...

 



 

It is stamped with the new color Tangelo Twist and I sponged some Hello Honey in the center before adding the In Color Boutique Detail.

 

I made some faux washi tape with some strips of Moonlight designer series paper and added my sentiment from Let your hair down.

Another sneak peek card for you today, although it won't be very much longer until they won't be sneak peeks anymore!  This one uses the Moonlight designer series paper stack, Hello Honey card stock and the Let Your Hair Down stamp set.

 

My Hexagon Hive die cut is Smoky Slate as is the card base and I have used Lost Lagoon ink for my sentiment.

Teacher Appreciation Week

 

Last week was Teacher Appreciation week at our schools and I always give out a packet of handmade cards to the females and try to come up with something else for the male teachers.  In my mind, I was using the Tag a Bag Gift Bags as the card holder...but when I went to put them together I only had one left.  So...I decided to figure out the dimensions and make a few similar ones out of designer series paper.

 

I used some of the 2012-2014 In Colors designer series paper stack for the bags cutting a piece down to 8 1/2" x 12".  Then, I scored the short side at 1" and the long side at 3 3/4" and 9".  Before I put it together, I cut off the two sides up to the 1" score lines.

 

They are decorated with some banners that I just cut with my scissors, tea lace paper doilies, gold baker's twine and a stamp that will be in a hostess set in the new catalog!

 

The stamp set is called Let your hair down and I used Baked Brown Sugar ink.

 

I did have one of the Tag a Bag chevron bags left so I used one of those as well. 

 

For the male teacher, I chose to use a Tag a Bag Gift box and filled it with Hershey's kisses (and a whole bag fits in the box perfectly). 

 

It is decorated using the same stamp, gold bakers twine, Tag a Bag accessories kit, and some sneak peek designer series paper called Lullaby.
