Deepest Sympathy

I added lots of layers and textures on this sympathy card using the Peace on Earth stamp set. I used a card base of Cloud Cover card stock and then added some Gray Granite that was embossed with a retired folder followed by a piece of Secret Sea card stock. Next came two layers of designer series paper from the Florals in Bloom collection and finally the sentiment layer.

There are a few 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls added as well.

Happy Anniversary

This card was made for my parents' anniversary in July using the Beautiful Butterflies stamp set and Stampin' Blends markers. The butterflies are colored in with Boho Blue and Highland Heather Stampin' Blends.

The sentiment on the front of the card comes from the Blooming Phrases stamp set and the one on the inside is from the Lifetime of Love set. 

The embellishments are some retired ones I had that matched the colors and I also added a butterfly to the back of the envelope.

Mixed Florals

I made two versions of a card with the same layout using the Mixed Florals bundle. The images were stamped with Memento Black ink and colored in with Stampin' Blends, the flowers on the left were also colored with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add a little pop.

In the background I used the Beautiful Butterflies hybrid embossing folder on Gorgeous Grape card stock and the sentiment layer is Lemon Lolly. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Butterflies 

stamp set.

Buttterfly birthday

I had made this card for a challenge last week and didn't get it posted so I thought I would share it anyway.  It was for Mary Jo's sketch challenge...

 

 

I used some Print Poetry dsp for one layer and the smaller butterfly.  The larger butterfly is cut from First Edition specialty paper and I put some Midnight Muse on the edges with a marker.

Our Late Night Stampers challenge is to CASE a project that we either saw at convention or that someone posted on their blog from convention.  I wish I could give credit to the person who made the card I CASED, but it was apparently on a board with a bunch of other cards and I don't know who made it.  If it was you...let me know!

The original card was sponged and used Crumb cake as the base and for the sentiment.  I also changed the ribbon and the third layer, but the concept is the same.

Simple Butterfly

I made this card without a sentiment so one can be added on the inside when it is used.  It is a quick and easy one to make using the Elegant Lines impressions folder and the Beautiful Butterflies die along with the Elements of Style stamp set and Springtime Vintage fabric.

Clear Case card holder

I just love all the ways you can use these clear cases that hold our clear mount stamps.  I used this one to put cards and envelopes in as a gift and added a couple pockets on the inside.  One thing I learned though is not to put too many embellishments on the cards or you can't fit too many inside :)

I used the Springtime Vintage Designer Series paper and fabric as well as some impressions folders - Framed Tulips and Vintage Wallpaper when I decorated and added a butterfly from the Beautiful Butterflies die and some basic pearls.
