A Quick Post

I apologize for all the silence in the last week or so, things have been crazy with extra family around, my dad in the hospital again and trying to get end of year things done for the farm. My craft room hasn't seen much activity...I will hopefully be back to regular posting next week.

Here are a few projects I don't think I shared with you yet... hopefully they can bring you some inspiration!

Merry Christmas

I put together a few of these Christmas cards using the Seasonal Tags stamp set to send to some of our seasonal employees this year. I also used some Traditions of Christmas Specialty designer series paper along with the Beautiful Pattern embossing folder.

The die for the sentiment was made with the Creative Haven dies and I added some White Baker's Twine for an accent.

This card uses very limited supplies because three of my layers are from the Gathering Together designer series paper collection and these pieces bring in the color.

The card base is Basic Beige card stock, and the sentiment is from the Mixed Labels stamp set. I used a retired die set called Picture This dies to make the sentiment layer.

Thinking of You

I have been having so much fun using the Florals in Bloom designer series paper, matching card stock colors to the designer series paper patterns and creating designs with it. The colors in the collection are some of my favorites.

I chose Highland Heather card stock for the embossed layer, using the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid embossing folder. There is also a layer of Gorgeous Grape and Crumb Cake card stock behind the designer series paper. The sentiment comes from the stamp set called The Right Words and the die I used is retired.

Simply Incredible

I have again used several of the products from the 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar for this card. That product, along with the More Messages die that I used to create the die cut for the sentiment, are both on the Last Chance List. I used the Dotted Circles 3d embossing folder on the Boho Blue card stock in the background and added a punched-out Strawberry Slush circle behind the flower wreath die cut that is from the kit. There are also so Pretty in Pink and Strawberry Slush Gems added.

Layered Thoughts

I was looking for a way to use the Just a Note dies large die cut of a piece of notebook paper on a card and this is what I came up with this time around.

I paired the Layered Thoughts stamp set and Floral Charm designer series paper with the die set. There are a couple different patterns of designer series paper and they are matted with Pretty Peacock cardstock.
