FANTASTIC projects we have for you.
Since it is National Scrapbooking Month, I wanted to create a fun project for a scrapbook.
The project I chose is a 12 x 12 double layout that is centered around a sticky treat
that my kids and and probably most kids LOVE! I had the opportunity to
chaperon a field trip to the Shrine Circus this spring with my children's
school and took some fun pictures that worked perfectly
for this project.
There are not a
lot of times when using pink on a page for boys is ok, but I think this one is
an exception.
It is always fun
to make messes, which is what these boys did with their cotton candy, so I decided to do the same with the layout by adding lots of
ink in a couple of different ways. I love using My Digital Studio for titles and journaling, it is quick and easy every time.
Of course I had to throw that elephant
picture in there, another thing that just goes with the circus!
And the project wouldn't be complete without a fun matching card!

What a cute layout, cotton candy is generally pink, at least that was what is when I a little one! And when I brought my son home from the hospital 33 years ago, our neighbor, one of his olders sisters teacher, brought over the most adorable pink terrie footed pj's and said when she was growing up pink was ok for boys! This hope has brought a ton of memories to mind and it has been a blast for me.
What an adorable layout, perfect for cotton candy. Taking my grandhildren to the fair in a couple of weeks, will have to use this as inspiration for that layout. Thank you so much for sharing.
That layout LOOKS like cotton candy! How cute! And the layout looks like the fun they seem to have had!
What a cute idea to base the layout on cotton candy. It really shows the fun of the day.
Very cute! I never realized until now that I could make scrapbook pages for friends to use and make a card with the scraps from that page too. I need to use that idea in my classes as well!! Awesome ideas - thanks!!!
Very cute and I am sure the children loved the circus.
What a great page! Love how you tied the pink into it and I agree, it's perfect for your photos!
How fun is this adorable project! Makes me want some sticky pink stuff too.
Cute projects! :) Definitely a cotton candy feel!!
this is so fun! I really love it when the layouts, techniques, textures etc come from the photos, and this one really does. Love the cotton candy theme and how you created that on the page! Very clever. Thanks for the chance to win the blog candy.
