Hippos and Dots

Today I have lots of pictures to share with you of cards made with the Hippest Hippo stamp set, Hippo Dies and the Dots and Spots die. The Dots and Spots die was so fun to play with that I made a 

few variations...

All the cards also use different patterns of the hostess designer series paper collection called Celebrate Everything. 

The Hippos have all been stamped with Memento ink, colored in with Stampin' Blends and then die cut using the Hippo dies. The Hippest Hippo stamp set and Hippo dies were free products you could earn during the last Sale-a-bration event.

For the sentiment layers, I die cut pieces using the Stylish Shapes and All That die sets. 

The circle layer behind the ballerina was made with the Stylish Shapes dies and the little flowers around here were cut from 2022 - 2024 In Color Glimmer paper using the Hippo dies.

The embossed layer on the last card was created with a retired folder and I used just a scrap of Polished Pink that was cut from the larger die cut piece from the card above it.

Junior Year

We are down to one at home these days as the boys headed to college last week. Maddie started her junior year on Wednesday and as usual I had a sign for her first day picture...

I covered a wooden arrow with some Perfectly Penciled designer series paper and colored in the white flowers with various Stampin' Blends markers. Then, I added some die cut flowers made with the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer paper and the Hippo dies.

The final touches were some Basic Rhinestones and letters made with the retired Large Alphabet dies on Basic White card stock.

Happiest Hippo

It is so much fun playing around with the Hippest Hippo stamp set and coordinating Hippo dies! For this card, I paired those products with the Hostess Design a Daydream designer series paper.

I also used the Stitched Rectangles dies, Stylish Shapes dies and some retired self-adhesive embellishments. The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments stamp sets which covers a great variety of occasions.

The sentiments come from the Amazing Phrasing stamp set which you can get FREE with a $100 product purchase and I used several different colors of ink to create the background - Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party. 

The Hippo and flowers are die cut using the Hippo dies and the Starburst circle is punched from the 2022-2024 In Color Glimmer paper. The flowers are also die cut from the Glimmer paper and have a Basic Rhinestone in the middle.
