Sweet Wishes

I was disappointed to see the Brightly Gleaming specialty paper sell out so quickly during the Year End Close Out Sale earlier in the month.  I love the designs, not only for Christmas projects, but I have used the paper for birthday and graduation cards as well as some scrapbook layouts.

The background on this card is embossed with the Brick and Mortar folder before I added some of the specialty paper to the top.  The cup is stamped with Pretty Peacock and Mossy Meadow ink.

Quite awhile ago I was using up some retired Have a Cuppa designer series paper and die cut lots and lots of coffee cups using the also retired Coffee Cups framelits.  I recently paired some of those die cuts with the Cup of Christmas stamp set and made these cards.  

The background is embossed with the retired Large Polka dots folder and I have added some die cut leaves and 5/8" striped burlap ribbon for accents as well.

October Stamp Club

This month's stamp club projects use a few things from the Holiday catalog and a few others from the catalog and idea book.  I always like to use a mix of the two this time of year...

The layout started out with the Let it Snow specialty designer series paper and I added card stock photo mats in coordinating colors to the paper.  What is so fun about this paper is that one side has lots of glitter elements - for example, the snowmen are covered in glitter, and it gives a little texture to the projects as well.

Lastly, we used the Inspiring Iris stamp set in coordination with the Follow Your Art designer series paper.  This is on of my favorite flower stamp sets in the catalog, and it incorporates two step stamping.
