January Stamp Club

This month for stamp club, we used quite a few items that are in the catalog and idea book, but we did try out the new stamp set from the mini catalog called Grace's Garden for one of our cards.

The layout uses the Magnolia Lane designer series paper which you can also purchase in bulk which is a nice option.  There are coordinating colors used for the background pages and the photo mats along with a die cut piece made with the Stitched Labels framelits.

This card has a background that was embossed with the Country Floral dynamic folder which was a free item during last year's Sale-a-bration that carried over into the Idea book and catalog.  The stamp set used was from the new mini catalog and is called Grace's Garden.

Finally, we use the Birch background stamp and Let it Ride for this card showcasing the horse image by using two layers of ovals cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits.

We always welcome new members into our monthly club or virtual club.  Contact me for more details!

Happy Birthday

While I am not really a horse person, I really like the images in the Let it Ride stamp set and know a few people that would like cards made with it so I added it to my wish list awhile ago.

I paired it with the Crackle Paint background stamp and Itty bitty birthdays stamp for these cards. The horses were colored in with Stampin' Blends and I added some linen thread as an accent as well.

Supplies:
Crackle Paint, Let it Ride, Itty Bitty Birthdays
Mossy Meadow, Sahara Sand, Soft Suede, Memento Black ink
Crumb Cake, Mossy Meadow, Gray Granite, Night of Navy card stock
linen thread
Classic label punch

Open Gate

The crops are all in and the seed potatoes are all shipped out to customers so I am hoping to be able to start posting regularly again!  Of course we will have baseball games for the boys almost every night now for the next couple months as well...

The stamp set I used for this card was in the previous Idea Book and Catalog, but it is carried over into the one that just came out as well.  It is called Let It Ride and I love the sentiments in it!

The little wooden element is one that was part of a free gift with a Paper Pumpkin kit a little over a year ago and I thought it worked well as an accent.

Supplies:
Let It Ride
Early Espresso, Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover ink
Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Call Me Clover, Whisper White card stock
