Blessings

Today I have two cards for you that are very different, but made with the same stamp set called Blessed by God.  I knew it was one I wanted to have because it is great for many different occasions - baptism, marriage, friendship, everyday, etc...

For the card above, I used Back to Black designer series paper and added a piece of embossed Pear Pizzazz over it before adding my sentiment and some 1/4" cotton ribbon (by the way, if you haven't tried this ribbon yet - it is awesome! )

I admit I should have used a darker ink color for the sentiment on this card, but in real life it is much more clear to read...I chose some Moonlight dsp in the background on this card and also used some Kraft card stock.

Supplies:
Blessed by God
Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz ink
Kraft, Lost Lagoon, Whisper White, Soft Sky, Pear Pizzazz card stock
Moonlight and Back to Black dsp
1/4" white cotton ribbon

Happy

More fun with the Draw the Line stamp set on these cards - I paired the stamp set with Flashback designer series paper and the Perfect Pennants stamp set.

Those little essentials wooden elements are too much fun too, I just had to add one of those to the cards :)  Both cards are the same with the exception of the card stock matting the designer series paper.

Supplies:
Draw the Line, Perfect Pennants
Real Red, Memento black ink
Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry and Basic Black card stock
Flashback dsp
essentials wooden elements
1 3/4" circle punch

Happy 4th of July!

I hope you all are having a wonderful 4th of July!  We always enjoy the wonderful parade in Park River and then have some family time afterward.

I shared this table decoration with you earlier that I made with the June My Paper Pumpkin kit - wouldn't it be a great decoration for a party today?

I thought a birthday card would be appropriate today and used the Big News stamp set and the Playground card collection from Project Life.

On the inside I added a few more candles...

Supplies:

Dance

Last May the kids, mother-in-law and I were able to attend a niece's dance recital and we were very impressed.  I was able to get a few good pictures (but they move so fast it wasn't easy!) and wanted to put together a layout with them.

I used pieces from both the Playground and Everyday Adventure Project Life collections and put them into a Project Life Photo Pocket page.

These still take me a lot longer to put together than what I am used to, but it is getting easier!

Supplies:
Project Life Everyday adventure and Playground collections
Photo pocket pages
Crushed Curry, Strawberry Slush, Bermuda Bay, Basic Black card stock

July Stamp Club

I went with a birthday card theme for the Stamp Club card projects this month, using Birthday Surprise, Big News and Work of Art as the stamp sets.  On the first card, we used some Kraft card stock and the new In Color inks.

The designer series paper on the second card comes from Confetti Celebration and we added a clothespin embellishment from the 2014-2016 In color Clothespins collection.

For the layout, Flashback designer series paper, Draw the Line stamp set and an essentials wooden element stamped with "oh snap" from the Hip Notes set.

Again, it is a pretty basic layout that can be used for a number of different occasions.

Supplies:
Hip Notes, Draw the Line, Birthday Surprise, Work of Art, Big News
Flashback, Confetti Celebration dsp
Kraft card stock
Lots of inks and card stocks

Hello There

This cards is fairly plain despite the rhinestone bling around the starbursts on the edges.  It is stamped with the hostess set called Hello there and I used the Starburst framelits to cut out the sentiment as well as the other 3 starbursts.

The background designer series paper is again from Maritime and I chose Night of Navy for my ink and card stock colors.

Supplies:
Hello There
Night of Navy ink
Night of Navy, Whisper White card stock
Maritime dsp
basic rhinestones
Starburst framelits
