Pressed Flowers

When I created this card I guess I pulled out quite a few retired items but it could easily be recreated with current catalog items as well.  The designer series papers I chose were from the Happiness Blooms and Wood Textures collections and my stamp sets were Pressed Flowers (hostess) and Detailed with Love.

I added some linen thread and Happiness blooms enamel dots for accents and the die cut for the sentiment is from the Spot of Tea framelits collection.

More July Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

Here are some more alternative card ideas for the July Paper Pumpkin kit.  The only extra item I used was Whisper White card stock for a card base.  The rest of the pieces are from the kit, either cut down or just used differently...

July Paper Pumpkin Alternatives

The first photo shows the cards from the July Paper Pumpkin kit as they were intended - the kit would make 4 of each of these...

The first alternative project is a scrapbook layout using the stamps, ink and some other elements from the kit.  The Mossy Meadow photo mat is half of one of the card bases and the kraft and designer paper piece are also from the kit.  The only pieces that were not included are the 12" x 12" piece of Whisper White and the Seaside Spray photo mat.

The first alternative card just uses a Whisper White card base and one of the kit pieces cut in half.  

For this one, I also used a Whisper White card base and the embossed Kraft layer is one of the card bases in the kit cut down to 5" x 2 1/4"...

Happy Birthday

While I am not really a horse person, I really like the images in the Let it Ride stamp set and know a few people that would like cards made with it so I added it to my wish list awhile ago.  

I paired it with the Crackle Paint background stamp and Itty bitty birthdays stamp for these cards. The horses were colored in with Stampin' Blends and I added some linen thread as an accent as well.
