Ride On

This is another card idea that came from playing around with the Ready to Ride Suite of products. These products can be seen in the pictures and description below or right here.

I used two different patterns from the designer series paper called Ready to Ride in the background. There are lots of great designs, some of which have raised embossing like the black and gray one on this card. The stamping was done with Memento Black ink, and I used a retired punch for the sentiment.

Life is Sweeter

Happy Valentine's Day! and 25th anniversary to my husband and I, not sure where the years have gone!! The Share a Milkshake bundle is a fun one to use for Valentine's Day cards and I have a couple different designs to share with you today.

Each of them uses pieces of the Dandy Designs designer series paper from Sale-a-bration in the background and I chose my ink colors from the colors in the designs. 

One tip - when using the die cuts that have very little card stock left after being cut, it is a good idea to add adhesive sheets to the back of them before you cut. The die cut in the top picture is a good example of that.

The die cuts on each card are created with the Share a Milkshake dies, Beautiful Shapes dies and Something Fancy dies.

Wreath of Blooms

The new kit release from Stampin' Up! looks like so much fun to put together! You can see the details about the kit in the video and information below.

To put this card together, there was a bit of prep work to be done die cutting a few different elements. I used the Something Fancy dies for the sentiment and the Around the Bend dies for the flowers and overlay, both of which are in the Mini Catalog.

For this card, I brought in a retired stamp set called Flowing Flowers for the sentiment which is stamped on a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock punched out with the Starburst punch.

The background stamp is from the Eden's Garden stamp set and the designer series paper is from the Fancy Flora collection which is in a 6" x 6" package.

No One Like You

While I really love the colors and patterns in the designer series paper called Design A Daydream (this is a hostess product), I struggle to find good ways to use the bicycle pattern. I think it fits pretty well on this card and I paired the designer paper with the Happy Labels stamp set which is in the Mini Catalog.

Both patterns of designer series paper are from the same collection, and I have mounted them on Blackberry Bliss and Pool Party card stock.

Better Days

The Split Textures dies are so much fun to play around with! This card recently became a part of my stamp a stack options and it uses a pattern from the designer series paper collection from Sale-a-bration called Favored Flowers. 

The circle is made with the Layering Circles dies and I have added some Opaque Adhesive Backed Gems for accents. The ink colors, with the exception of Soft Suede are retired - Sweet Sugarplum and Rococo Rose.
