Make a Wish Pull Card

Last week, I shared a card using the Hooray for Surprises Bundle showing you the peek through options using the circles, this card shows you the long pull tab that is also available to hide a message.

I began with a piece of Softly Stippled designer series paper (a FREE with $50 purchase Sale-a-bration item) and die cut the pull strip into that. There is a message stamped on the card base behind the strip so that when it is pulled off, the recipient has something more to see.

I stamped three cakes on a strip of Basic White card stock and mounted that on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. The flowers are die cut using the Hooray for surprises dies and some scraps of card stock. I added a few Tinsel Gems Four Pack embellishments to complete the card.

Surprise! Now there’s an easy way to create zip strips and peek-throughs on cards. The Hooray for Surprises Dies cut a fun zip strip and more. Stamp a message, then layer a die-cut zip strip piece over it. The person who gets your card will tear open the zip strip to reveal a hidden message! You can also create peek-through surprises. Combine dies to create peek-through openings on the heart, bird, circle, or flower die to reveal just a bit of what’s underneath: pretty paper, a stamped image, a handwritten note.
