Make a Wish

The Hooray for Surprises bundle which just came out in the Mini Catalog has an option for interactive cards. There are three different dies that you can use to add a message or image behind and have the recipient pull the top off to see what is underneath. I have used the two circle ones on this card, but there is also a longer thin one that I will show you soon.

In addition to the Hooray for Surprises bundle, I used a pattern from the Inked Botanicals designer series paper along with some Crushed Curry that was embossed with the Cheery Patterns folders in the backgrounds.
The circles are die cut using the Stylish Shapes dies and the stitched rectangles are cut with the Nested Essentials dies.
The embellishments are called Adhesive Backed Speckled Dots and I added them for a little bit more texture.

The Hooray for Surprises Bundle includes the Hooray for Surprises Stamp Set and the Hooray for Surprises Dies. Also available in French.

Create handmade cards with fun surprises! Stamp an image, then add a die-cut element for a surprise: a zip strip that tears away to reveal a message, or a die cut with peek-throughs to show a teeny bit of what’s underneath.

HOORAY FOR SURPRISES PHOTOPOLYMER STAMP SET
Send lots of love and wishes with cards you make using the Hooray for Surprises Stamp Set. The playful images are perfect for birthdays, love, and just because. Stamp “Pull” or “Open here” on the front of the card to invite your recipient to open it for a surprise, such as a fun image or a heartfelt message.
* 16 photopolymer stamps
* Suggested clear blocks (sold separately): a, b, c, d

HOORAY FOR SURPRISES DIES
Surprise! Now there’s an easy way to create zip strips and peek-throughs on cards. The Hooray for Surprises Dies cut a fun zip strip and more. Stamp a message, then layer a die-cut zip strip piece over it. The person who gets your card will tear open the zip strip to reveal a hidden message! You can also create peek-through surprises. Combine dies to create peek-through openings on the heart, bird, circle, or flower die to reveal just a bit of what’s underneath: pretty paper, a stamped image, a handwritten note.
* 12 dies
* Largest die: 4-1/2" x 1/2" (11.4 x 1.3 cm)
* Use with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine

Our coordinated craft bundles save you time and money! Buy the bundle and save 10% off the price of buying the stamp and tool separately. Plus, bundles will help you quickly cut out stamped images for a single project or create multiples of the same project with ease.
