I wanted to pair the Metal Plate embossing folder used on a Silver Foil sheet with the Thoughtful Wishes dies and this is what 

I came up with.

I chose Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Mead and Bermuda Bay card stock for the die cuts and the circle in the background is made with the retired Circles dies and Evening Evergreen card stock.

Caring Leaves Birthday

I have been trying to figure out some fun ways to use the Season of Elegance specialty designer series paper on cards that are not Christmas themed. This birthday card uses one of the patterns in the background.

I used the Caring Leaves and Best Family Ever stamp sets pairing them with Pecan Pie, Cajun Craze, Wild Wheat and Old Olive ink. There is a piece of Cajun Craze card stock along the side that was randomly stamped with leaves as well.

The embellishments are from the Iridescent Foil Gems collection.

Everyday Details

Hot weather has delayed our potato harvest so I will be able to post a few more cards for you in the days to come. If all of the sudden the posts stop for a couple weeks, that means we have begun potato harvest and once that is complete, soybean harvest.

This card uses two different designer series paper collections - Nests of Winter and Regal Distressed Patterns. The image is from the Everyday Details stamp set and is stamped with Memento Black ink and then colored with Stampin' Blends. In My Thoughts

Sometimes it is fun to play around with the Blending Brushes and create a different background. On this card, I took some Basic White card stock, Blending Brushes, Highland Heather ink and Coastal Cabana ink to create a background to stamp the flower image from Lovely and Sweet.

The sentiment is from the Best Family Ever stamp set and I used some retired Earthen Elegance designer series paper in the background on top of the embossed piece of Misty Moonlight. The embossed folder I used is called the Distressed Tile 3D folder.

Congratulations

This is the card I made for my daughter for graduation using the Spotlight on Nature stamp set as the focus. I stamped the flower image on a piece of Country Lace designer series paper with Memento Black ink and then stamped it again on a piece of scrap. Next, I colored in the image with Stampin' Blends and also the extra piece on scrap paper. 

I cut out the larges flower from the scrap paper and popped it up on the first image with Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment is from the Best Family Ever stamp set and I added two pieces of Thoughtful Designs specialty paper in the background along with a piece of Wood Textured specialty paper that was sponged with Crumb Cake ink.

On the inside I used a sentiment from the Unbounded Love 

stamp set.

I wish I had more reasons to put together cards like this one using the Gone Fishing bundle and Let's Go Fishing designer series paper.

One big tip I have for using this die set is to add the adhesive sheets to your card stock or designer series paper before you do any die cutting. Some of the pieces are too small to mess with other adhesives.

I used some of the Let's Go Fishing designer series paper for the die cuts as well as Gold Foil Sheets and Dry Brushed Metallic specialty paper.

On the inside I added some water images from the Gone Fishing stamp set and a sentiment from the Best Family Ever set.

Watermelon Birthday

There is a stamp set in the upcoming Sale-a-bration catalog called Watercolor Melon and I have used some of the stamps on this card. There are no sentiments in set, just images, but it will be a fun one to play around with.

I started with some card stock layers - Flirty Flamingo, Crumb Cake and Crushed Curry - and then added a piece of the Merry Bold and Bright designer series paper. Next, the circle layers are made with the 2 1/4" and 2 3/8" punches.

I used Sweet Sorbet ink for the watermelon and Granny Apple Green for the rind.
