Our Thoughts

There are some stamp sets that I decide to get rid of after they retire, and some that I hold on to for a long time. The one used on this card was a Sale-a-bration item in 2019 called Lasting Lily and I plan to keep it around for a while longer.

The designer series paper is from the Thoughtful Journey collection and is mounted on Summer Splash card stock. The first sentiment is stamped on a die cut made with the Everyday Essentials dies and I also added a few Basic Gray and Smoky Slate Pearl Embellishments.

Leaf Fall Birthday

This card would work well if you were looking for a masculine birthday card. It uses Pebbled Path and Old Olive card stock along with some Nature's Sweetness specialty designer series paper.

The embossing folder used in the background is called Leaf Fall and it is a 3D embossing folder. The die cut matting the sentiment was made with the Everyday Details Dies and the sentiment is from the Attention Shoppers stamp set.

We made it through planting and graduation! Hopefully things will slow down just a little bit for now, but we will see...

This card uses a few new catalog products including the 2024-2026 In Color 6" x 6" designer series paper, 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots and the Simply Said stamp set.

In the background I embossed a piece of Pebbled Path card stock with the Exposed Brick embossing folder before adding a piece of designer series paper on top.

The sentiment is stamped on a die cut made with the Everyday Details dies and then I used a few of the Resin Dots for accents.

Watermelon Birthday

I still love playing around with the Watercolor Melon stamp set from this year's Sale-a-bration. This card pairs that set with the Best Family Ever stamp set which is used for the sentiment.

I used Sweet Sorbet and Granny Apple Green ink and card stock along with the Everyday Details dies for the sentiment layer. There are also some retired self-adhesive embellishments added for accents.

Translucent Floral Sympathy

You may have noticed last week that I did not get posts out every day - that will likely be the case this week as well. We are busy shipping seed potatoes and getting ready to plant as well. 

I have two different designer series paper patterns in the background of this card, one is from the Fresh as a Daisy collection and the other is from the Translucent Florals collection (this is no longer available). My die cuts were made with the Everyday Details dies and the sentiment comes from the Kindest Expressions set.

I Wish I Could Make This Better

I always like using the patterns in a designer series paper collection that are out of the theme - for example, I used a piece of A Little Latte designer series paper on this card but one without the coffee theme...After choosing the pattern, I added card stock colors and elements that coordinated with those colors.

The sentiment is from the Comforting Thoughts stamp set and is stamped with Lost Lagoon and Pecan Pie ink and it is stamped on a die cut made with the Everyday Details dies. The sentiment is two separate stamps and I love that the fonts are different. I also added a few Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots for accents.
