Boho Birthday

There are a few stamp sets that I decide to hang on to long after they have retired and the Little Dreamers set is one of them, this set has the elephant image I used on the card below.

In the background I used two patterns from the Boho Vibes designer series paper, this collection comes in the 6" x 6" size.

The elephant is colored in with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and the sentiment is from the Attention Shoppers stamp set.

Lots of Strips

Sometimes it is fun to use lots of those small strips of card stock and designer series paper that you save after cutting for other projects. That is what I did with this card, using the Floral Delight designer series paper.

I also used strips of Copper Clay card stock for matting and other layers and the Attention Shoppers for the sentiment.

Patterns and Texture Birthday

The color combinations in the Soda Pop designer series paper are so much fun - it is no longer available, but I still have some to play around with...

The Granny Apple Green card stock in the background is embossed with the Tin Tile folder, which is also retired, it is one of my favorites!

I added a few retired glitter embellishments as accents 

on the cake as well.

The Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder makes a neat background no matter what color of card stock you use it with. This card I happened to use Azure Afternoon card stock with the folder and used it for my background.

The potted plant image and sentiment are from the Attention Shoppers stamp set and I colored in the image with Stampin' Blends. There are 2" and 2 3/8" circle punches uses for the image and mat and there are a few Tinsel Gems Four Pack gems used for accents.

On this birthday car, I paired the A Little Latte designer series paper with the dies from More Than Autumn to create a

 coffee birthday card.

The layers of designer series paper are matted with Early Espresso and Lost Lagoon card stock and the bank on the coffee is cut from a piece of designer series paper.

The sentiment is from the Attention Shoppers stamp set and is on a die cut made with the Unbounded Love dies. The coffee cup is die cut from Pecan Pie ink and the "coffee" is as well. I made sure to add a piece of adhesive sheet to the back of the card stock before I die cut the "coffee" so it would be easier to attach.

Sunny Thoughts

I made a few masculine cards using the Trucking Along bundle and some specialty paper that is unfortunately retired and out of stock. 

The die cut circle is made with the Spotlight on Nature dies and the happy birthday sentiment is from the Attention Shoppers stamp set.

The truck was stamped on a piece of scrap paper, punched out with the Trucking Along punch and popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

I was playing around with the You Are Beautiful stamp set recently and these cards are a couple that I came up with. The stamped image is on a piece of Full of Life designer series paper using 

Lost Lagoon ink.

In the background I used one of the Basics 3D embossing folders on a piece of Lemon Lolly card stock. After I added the stamped designer series paper, I wrapped a piece of White 3/4" Frayed ribbon around both pieces before placing it on the card base.

The sentiment is from the Attention Shoppers stamp set and the die cut came from the Designer Tags dies. There are a few Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins for accents as well.

The background of this cards is a great way to use scraps of designer series paper that are sitting around on your crafting table. These pieces were 1" strips that I added to another scrap of cardstock and then added to a mat of Shy Shamrock.

To add some texture, I embossed a piece of Summer Splash card stock with the Dotted Circles 3D embossing folder and then punched out a circle with the 2 1/4" circle punch. The shopping bags were colored in with Stampin' Blends.
