Bridal Shower Decorations

These are a couple of the bridal shower decorations I have been working on lately. Most of the products I used are retired but the Painterly Pears designer series paper and Perfectly Pears stamp set were perfect since the theme is Perfect Pear.

I have some of these wooden cutting boards leftover from a class and thought I would use one for decoration. The stamped letters are from a retired set and the die cut heart is also retired. I used Lemon Lolly, Basic White and Petal Pink card stock colors and ribbon along with some fun letter beads.

These doilies are going to be on the tables with vases or other decorations focusing on pears. The die cuts are made with the Stylish Shapes and Spotlight on Nature dies.

Thinking of You

I find it so hard to use the Beautiful Gallery designer series paper, not because I don't like the patterns, because I don't want to cut them up. This is a 6" x 6" collection and the patterns are so good!

For these cards, I did cut up the patterns and put them on card stock that was embossed with either the Dashing Designs folder or the Forever Plaid folder. The sentiment is from The Right Words stamp set. I also highlighted the designs with the 

Wink of Stella glitter brush.

February Stamp Club Projects

This month's stamp club projects are ready to share with you. I have used a couple recently retired items on these projects, but as always, you can substitute with what you have!

The first card is made with the Saying Hey and Blooming Phrases stamp sets, Boho Vibes designer series paper, Sign Design punch, a retired embossing folder and some Iridescent Pearls Basic Jewels.

Next, we have a card made with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder, Addressed to You stamp set, and the Greenery Lane bundle.

Finally, the layout uses the Nature's Sympathy stamp set along with retired Floral and Gingham Vellum Specialty paper and Floral Delight designer series paper.

I always have fun designing these projects for class, hope you enjoy them as well! 

I Miss

We are in the time between the end of wheat harvest and the beginning of potato harvest right now, trying to catch up and prepare. I am hoping to share a few projects with you during this time, and I know there will be another lull coming up once we start the potatoes...

There are quite a few elements that went into putting this card together and I used some colors I do not use too often. The colors are chosen from the ones in the pattern of Boho Vibes designer series paper that I picked - Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Petal Pink and Cajun Craze.

The die cuts are made with the Perennial Postage dies and the Nested Essentials dies, and I used the To the Point Punch behind the sentiment die cut. 

The sentiment is from the retired Saying Hey stamp set.

I Miss Your Face

I am very glad that the Country Lace designer series paper has still been a current product (it is now on the discontinued list) - I just love the shades and patterns, and they work for so many different projects.

In the background I embossed a piece of Boho Blue card stock with the Forever Plaid 3d Embossing folder, next came the matted layers of designer series paper and finally the die cut with sentiment on it.

A Treat For You

On My Mind

The Grow with Love bundle was one that I initially thought I would not use so I ignored it for a while, but as with many other products, I saw lots of great samples created with it and decided to try it.

I used the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder and Copper Clay card stock for the background. On the next layer is a die cut that was stamped first and then I used Pool Party ink and a Blending Brush to add some color before popping up the leaves. 

The sentiment is stamped on a die cut made with the Stylish Shapes dies and the ribbon accents are Basic Beige ribbon and a piece from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.

The verses in the Courage and Faith stamp set can be used for so many different occasions, I use this stamp set quite often.

I stamped the verse and some dotted images on a die cut made with the Something Fancy dies and used the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder on a piece of Copper Clay card stock for the background. In between those layers are two pieces of Regal Winter 

designer series paper.

The card is finished off with a Faux Glass Dot at the top 

of the die cut.
