Wonderful Birthday

I took a couple of different patterns from the Earthen Elegance designer series paper and put together a few masculine 

birthday cards. 

I chose a base of Pebbled Path card stock and used Misty Moonlight card stock to mat the pieces of designer series paper.

The sentiment is from the Hooray for Surprises stamp set and is stamped on a die cut made with the Deckled Circles dies.

In My Thoughts

Sometimes it is fun to play around with the Blending Brushes and create a different background. On this card, I took some Basic White card stock, Blending Brushes, Highland Heather ink and Coastal Cabana ink to create a background to stamp the flower image from Lovely and Sweet.

The sentiment is from the Best Family Ever stamp set and I used some retired Earthen Elegance designer series paper in the background on top of the embossed piece of Misty Moonlight. The embossed folder I used is called the Distressed Tile 3D folder.

Earthen Elegance Sympathy

This is a card that I had in a recent all occasions card class and a stamp a stack using the Heartfelt Hexagons bundle and Earthen Elegance designer series paper. I am always drawn to the designer series papers that have a distressed look without having a pattern in them for card backgrounds.

There are two different designs from the Earthen Elegance designer series paper in the background and on top of that is a piece of Pebbled Path that is punched out with the Hexagon punch. The next layer is die cut with the Stylish Shapes dies and stamped with Pebbled Path ink.

Stamped with Love

I have used the Stamped with Love stamp set a whole lot yet, but this is one card that I have put together with it, combined with the Best Family Ever stamp set for the sentiment.

The designer series paper layers and sentiment layer are patterns of designer series paper from the Earthen Elegance collection. The little envelope was stamped on Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper and cut out before adding to the image stamped on Basic Gray card stock.

Birthday Zone

A recent card order had me realizing that I did not have enough options for making cards for young children so one of the stamp sets I decided to purchase was the Construction Zone set. It has some cute images that will work well for little boy cards.

I did a little random stamping in the background with some of the smaller images in the set and then added the crane to a piece of Basic White card stock before coloring it with Stampin' Write Markers. I stamped the present on some scrap card stock and colored it in before using my paper snips to cut it out. It was then popped up near the hook of the crane.

There are strips of two different designer series papers in the background - Hello, Irresistible and Earthen Elegance. 

The sentiment comes from the Artistically Inked stamp set and I used the paper snips to make the banner edges.

June Stamp Club Projects

For our June Stamp Club projects, I chose three different collections of designer series paper - all of which are on sale this month! Earthen Elegance, Bright and Beautiful and Inked Botanicals and you can find the sale items here...

The scrapbook layout uses the Earthen Elegance designer series paper along with coordinating card stock colors - Copper Clay, Pebbled Path, Pecan Pie, Misty Moonlight and Pretty Peacock. The punch used is the retired Starlit punch.

The first card showcases the Inked Botanicals designer series paper and the Inked and Tiled stamp set. I chose three patterns of the paper and added them to the background before attaching the top layer. There are Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems and Lost Lagoon ribbon added for accents.

Lastly, we used a few patterns from the Bright and Beautiful designer series paper collection and paired that with the Beautiful Balloon bundle. There are some Adhesive Backed Solids Gems added as well.

Inked and Tiled

I put together a few masculine birthday cards using the Earthen Elegance designer series paper and the Inked and Tiled bundle. They are easy to put together using just a few different products.

I began by stamping the leaves in the background with Pecan Pie ink and then added my matted designer series paper layer. The Misty Moonlight card stock was punched on both ends with the Happy Labels Pick a Punch and the sentiment was punched out with one of the Inked and Tiled punches.
