Antique Corners

Sometimes I like to use a detailed image without adding color, this time I chose to use a patterned background to do it using one of the designs in the Fine Art Floral designer series paper collection.

The background layer is a piece of retired vellum and I used the Seaside View stamp set for the image.  A couple of embellishments from the Antique corners and slides were added with glue dots.

Antiqued Corners & Slides are antiqued brushed bronze elements for memory keeping projects, journals, and more. Place corners on top of paper or photos and adhere with adhesive. Weave ribbon through ribbon slides for custom accents.

While the two cards in the pictures today are not for the same occasion, I made a few different ones with the same layout and designer series paper, Fine Art Floral from the mini catalog. 

The sympathy card uses the Peaceful Moments stamp set and the thank you card uses the Ice Cream Parlor stamp set, both sentiments are punched out with the Timeless Label punch and popped up on Soft Suede card stock.

Seaside View

These retirement cards were fun to put together using the Seaside View stamp set and some Stampin' Blends.  I chose to use a pattern from the Fine Art Floral designer series paper for the background of my beach chair image and then used Stampin' Blends to color in the image.

The Absolutely Argyle folder was used on some Mint Macaron card stock for a background piece and I used the Floral Gallery dies to die cut the sentiment.

Fine Art Messages

Today I have several cards to share with you all using the Many Messages Bundle and Fine Art Floral designer series paper.

For the first one, I chose Old Olive, Night of Navy and Rococo Rose card stock colors and used a die cut made with the Stitched Nested Labels dies.

The next card also uses the Golden Garden Designer Specialty Acetate which matches the pattern of the designer series paper and is used as an overlay.

The strip behind the sentiment is just another pattern of the designer series paper and for this card I used Old Olive and Balmy Blue card stock colors.

On the last card, I chose to use Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow and So Saffron card stock colors and added dry embossing using the Brick and Mortar embossing folder.

I could use the combination of this designer series paper pack with the Many Messages bundle all day long especially with so many different sentiments and patterns to choose from!

March Stamp Club Projects

Our monthly stamp club projects this time around are sort of spring themed, although that is not something that was on my mind when I put them together. 

The first card uses the Timeless Tulips stamp set, Stitched Rectangles framelits and Butterfly Bijou designer series paper...

Next, we have used many elements in the Butterfly Brilliance bundle including the stamp set, dies and designer series paper.  The sentiment is from the So Sentimental stamp set and is punched out with the Tailored Tag punch.  We have also used some Opal Rounds for accents.

The layout uses the beautiful Fine Art Floral designer series paper and coordinating card stock colors.

Heal Your Heart

I had a few of leftover pieces from an embellishment kit that retired quite awhile ago and I wanted to use them on some cards.  The sentiment layer on this card is where I ended up using them along with the Heal Your Heart (SAB 2021) stamp set and the 

Art Gallery set.

I used two different patterns of the Fine Art Floral designer series paper and matted one of them on Mossy Meadow card stock.  The ink colors are Mossy Meadow and Petal Pink.
