Feel Better

This card is put together with some items from our previous Sale-a-bration along with a couple retiring items.  I started by picking Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green card stock colors to match my designer series paper pattern. 

The Granny Apple Green layer is embossed with the retiring Absolutely Argyle folder and layered on top of that is a piece of Flower and Field designer series paper and a strip of Oh So Ombre designer series paper.  The sentiment is stamped using the Punch Party stamp set and die cut using the retiring Stitched Shapes framelits.

Seaside View

These retirement cards were fun to put together using the Seaside View stamp set and some Stampin' Blends.  I chose to use a pattern from the Fine Art Floral designer series paper for the background of my beach chair image and then used Stampin' Blends to color in the image.

The Absolutely Argyle folder was used on some Mint Macaron card stock for a background piece and I used the Floral Gallery dies to die cut the sentiment.

Dandelion Sympathy

For the sympathy card below, I have used the same embossing folder as I did for the card yesterday - Absolutely Argyle, this time on Granny Apple Green card stock.

For the image, I used the Dandelion wishes stamp set and the sentiment is a retired set called Kindness and Compassion.  The sentiment layer is die cut with the Stitched Rectangles folder and I added some In Good Taste designer series paper to break up the background a little bit.

Argyle Birthday

Usually when I put together cards like this one, I like to make extra die cuts so that I can put a few together instead of just one.  When I do that, I like to mix up the colors and patterns (for example on this one I would mix up the pattern of the shirt and maybe the color of the tie).

The shirt is made with the Well Suited designer series paper and the shirt, tie and suit are die cut with the Suit and Tie Dies.  The sentiment is stamped and die cut with the Many Messages bundle.

I colored the tie in with a Balmy Blue Stampin' Blend and the suit is embossed with the Absolutely Argyle folder.
