Eclectic Whimsy

On this project, I paired the Eclectic Garden stamp set with the Stitched with Whimsy dies. Mu card stock base of Mossy Meadow card stock has the stitched background made by using the dies. These dies do not cut out the pieces, they only add the stitched look and can be used for bases or layers. There are several different sizes to choose from.

In the background I have also used a piece of Sweet Talk designer series paper - I love that there are patterns that don't have hearts on them that can be used for projects other than love or Valentine's day!

Stitched with Whimsy Dies

Create die-cut frames that are anything but square. The irregular edges look like they were cut freehand and have cute decorative stitching. They're perfect for framing sentiments on handmade cards, scrapbook pages, and other paper crafts.

Wildflower Friendship

There are several different collections of designer series paper used on this card including patterns from the Hand Penned, Abstract Beauty and Sweet Talk collections. I enjoy trying to coordinate papers from different collection even though often times I just use two or three patterns from the same designer series paper collection on a project.

The Wildflower Path stamp set has some two and three step stamping options for the flowers which really makes it fun to use (and they are photopolymer stamps so you can line them up perfectly).  The sentiment is from the Many Messages stamp and is cut out with the coordinating Messages die.

There are a few Sea Glass Shapes added for a little texture and color as well.

I really do not make many Valentines Day projects, but I just love the Sweet Talk designer series paper and I especially like the fact that the patterns on the reverse side of the heart patterns are usable for lots of other types of projects.

This card does use one of the heart patterns in the background and I paired it with the Best Delivery stamp set, the truck is colored with Stampin' Blends, and I matted the sentiment and popped it up on the middle of the truck with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Valentine Greetings

A few weeks ago, Stampin' Up! had an online event for demonstrators that I was able to take part in called On Stage at Home.  When this type of event happens in person, I am not usually able to participate so I was really excited to be able to be a part of this one! We had some opportunities to purchase a few sneak peek products from the upcoming Mini catalog and Sale-a-bration flyer, both of which will be available to customers starting in January. 

The sentiment used on this card is from the Sale-a-bration stamp set called Special Moments and the designer series paper is called Sweet Talk.  There is an entire suite called Sweet Talk that will include a stamp set, designer series paper, a die set, embellishments, and an embossing folder. You are going to love it!
