Hand Penned

This card was actually made a few months ago before life got crazy with shipping potatoes, baseball, graduation and late spring planting. Somehow, I am finding myself behind again and not getting a lot of time to create new projects, so I am happy to have some spares to share with you!

The card base is Fresh Freesia and I have some retired Purple Posy ink and card stock added in the mix as well. The flower image was stamped with Memento Black ink and the flowers and leaves were stamped with Pale Papaya, Balmy Blue, Purple Posy and Old Olive. I added some You're a Peach designer series paper and a paper doily along with some Iridescent Rhinestones.

On this card, I have used a couple of the designer series paper collections that will be retiring prior to the new catalog coming out in May. The Hand Penned and You're A Peach collections are a couple of my favorites but Stampin' Up! always comes up with beautiful designs so I know that I will always find other collections that I will love!

The images and sentiment come from the Wildflower Path stamp set, one that you can do some two-step stamping with...and I added a few Brushed Brass Butterflies as well.

I keep coming back to the All for Baby stamp set and bundle for new baby or baby shower cards lately because it is one of my favorites. The cards below use different designer series paper for variations with the same layout.

Many Hats

Sometimes you find unexpected designs in a designer series paper collection that work well for something you might not think of using them for.  This hat that is die cut with the Hat Builders dies uses a piece of paper from the You're A Peach collection and the design works really well with it.

The background is a piece of Smoky Slate card stock that was embossed with the Star Crossed folder.  In addition to the sentiment in the lower left corner that comes from the Hat's Off stamp set, I added another sentiment from the In Your Words stamp set that was die cut using the Stitched So Sweetly dies.

Sometimes I like to use a couple different designs from a designer series paper pack on a project. For this card, I chose two designs from the You're A Peach collection for a belated birthday card.

Peachy Birthday

I had some fun playing around with the You're A Peach designer series paper and Sweet as a Peach stamp set on this card.  

The top sentiment was die cut with the Picture This dies and I added some Sale-a-bration Be Dazzling glitter paper behind the focal layer for some accent. The flowers are stamped with Balmy Blue ink and the leaves with Granny Apple Green.  There are also some blue adhesive backed gems in the middle of the flowers.

A Miracle

There are a lot of different products that went into these baby cards - lots of stamps, dies and papers.

I began with a piece of So Saffron card stock that I stamped using the Textures and Frames (SAB 2021) stamp set and Crumb Cake and Daffodil Delight ink.  Then, I added a piece of Crumb Cake card stock that had been die cut with the Picture This dies.

Next, I added  the onesies that were die cut using the Baby Clothes dies - one of them is also stamped first with the All for Baby stamp set which is also where a sentiment comes from. The other sentiment was stamped with the Many Happenings stamp and die cut with the Messages die.  I added a few Decorative Matte dots to complete the cards.

Sheltering You With Love

The stamp set Inspired Thoughts has sentiments for lots of different occasions that can be used alone or coordinated with another sentiment in the same stamp set.  For this project, I paired two of them together for a sympathy card.
