You're So Sweet

There are always some designer series paper collections that I wish would stick around for a little longer and the Tasty Treats specialty paper is one of them.  Unfortunately, it will be gone soon so I wanted to share another project idea using it.

I started with a jar stamped and die cut on Whisper White card stock, then I stamped the same jar on the specialty paper and used my paper snips to cut out only the inside and added it to the first jar.  A little Peekaboo Peach ruched ribbon, a bow from the Cupcakes and Carousels embellishment kit and a retired rhinestone completed the jar.

The sentiment is from the You're So Sweet stamp set, I just used part of one of the images instead of all of it.

Supplies:
You're So Sweet, Jar of Love
Basic Black, Watermelon Wonder ink
Whisper White, Crumb Cake card stock
Tasty Treats specialty paper
tea lace doily
Cupcakes and Carousels embellishment kit
Peekaboo Peach ruched ribbon

Just for You

In keeping with the simple card theme, here is another pretty quick and easy one.  This time I chose the stamp set You're So Sweet and used Mossy Meadow ink.

I cut out the stamped sentiments with a paper snips, that is probably the slowest part of this card assembly and then added them to a layer of designer series paper and Basic Black card stock.

Berry Baskets

Although these baskets aren't Easter themed, I thought I would share them before Easter because they could easily be adapted!  These were the make and take I shared with some friends last weekend, I gave them a few different options for card stock colors and designer series paper pieces.

On this one, I used the Apple of My Eye stamp set and cut out the apple before adding it to a 2" circle punched from some Bermuda Bay card stock.

For this one, I used the You're so Sweet stamp set and just used a paper snips to cut it out.

On the inside, I added some shred and candies that were in some cello bags.

Supplies:
You're so Sweet, Apple of My Eye
Lost Lagoon, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder ink
Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Tip Top Taupe card stock
Color me Irresistible specialty paper

Just for You

Sometimes it is fun to play with the negative pieces that come in the stamp sets even thought they were not meant to be used :)  On this card's background, I used the inside of the star image from the new stamp set You're so Sweet and Watermelon Wonder ink.  (Since the stamps are die cut, the rubber star center is already cut out for you!)

The Delightful Dijon layer is again the Envelope paper and I stamped the sentiment in the same color and cut it out.
