You've Got This

When I started this card, I had the ribbon, scrap of Go Wild designer series paper and the tag from the August Paper Pumpkin kit in front of me thinking I would make a quick card with it.  As it turned out, there wasn't anything too quick about it.  I had several interruptions and then it just wasn't coming together quite like I had anticipated...

I added an image from the Bohemian Borders stamp set and then added the rest of the elements to finally come up with this layout.

Supplies:
August 2015 Paper Pumpkin, Bohemian Borders
Craft White and Tip Top Taupe ink
Whisper White, Tip Top Taupe card stock
antique brads
Smoky Slate chevron ribbon
Go Wild dsp

July Stamp Club Projects

Time to share the stamp club projects for this month!  It is always a fun challenge to come up with a scrapbook layout for my club members that is fairly generic as far as a theme goes.  I realize that everyone's taste will be different as well as having different life events going on so there are never titles on pages and usually things are pretty simple...

So with that in mind, I put together this set of pages using the Sweet Li'l Things designer series paper and the Bohemian Borders stamp set.  I always like to have different sizes of mats to add the pictures to as well.

The first card uses the Tin of Cards stamp set (and I will eventually show you what I did with my actual Tin of Cards!!) and the Butterfly thinlits.  I have also added some of the Neutrals Color Collection designer series paper and a little double ended banner.

The butterflies are cut from the Schoolhouse designer series paper pack...

And finally, a sympathy card using the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set, Elegant Dots folder, and Scalloped Tag Topper punch.

I added a piece of white jute ribbon that was cut in two the long way and placed into the hole in the tag and tied it in place with some linen thread.

Like the projects?  I always have room for more in both my monthly and virtual stamp clubs!  Come and join us, we would love to have you :)

Cups and Cups

I had an order for some tags for gifts or gift baskets and I knew they wanted little coffee cups that I have made for them before, but they also asked for some tea cups.  I found a template online and cut out a few using some fun designer series paper and then did a little decorating.

On the coffee cups, I used the Bohemian Borders and Watercolor Wings stamp sets...

I just cut out the diamond shaped image with a paper snips on the tag above...

I chose some Sweet Lil' Things dsp for the card above and added some Venetian trim ribbon and an In Color 2015-2017 blossom accent.

The last cup is made using retired designer series paper and like the one above, I used a sentiment from Num Num and punched it out with the scallop oval punch.

Supplies:
Num Num, Watercolor Wings, Bohemian Borders
Tip Top Taupe Watermelon Wonder ink
Pool Party, Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Tip Top Taupe, Delightful Dijon card stock
corner punch
scallop circle punch
basic pearls
Venetian trim ribbon
silver baker's twine
linen thread
modern label punch
