Hello Zinnia

This is a card I put together quite awhile ago but have not shared with you just yet. It uses retired products, but you could easily do the same thing with current products and switch it up a little.

The Highland Heather card stock in the background is embossed with the Zinnia 3D embossing folder. There is also a layer of Flowering Zinnia designer series paper in the background. The sentiment layer is stamped with Early Espresso and Highland Heather, and I added a little piece of Lemon Lolly Satin ribbon 

for an accent.

It has been fun playing around with the More than Autumn bundle that is in the Holiday Catalog, there are so many possibilities! I paired it with some Flowering Zinnia designer series paper for this friend card.

 The sentiment is on a die cut from the Thoughtful Expressions dies which is no longer available and is stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink.

When I die cut the little "coffee" piece, I made sure to put an adhesive sheet behind the card stock, so it was easy to adhere to the coffee cup.

The Happy Little Things stamp set offers some fun ways to two step stamp some words so you can use a darker outline color and a bright inside color as I did on this card.

I cut both and piece of designer series paper and a piece of Basic White card stock at an angle and then added a couple of scraps of the different patterns of the same designer series paper collection - Flowering Zinnias - and added them to the Berry Burst card base.

The butterfly is from the Paper Butterfly Accents, and I used a sponge to add some Gorgeous Grape ink to it. The words are stamped with Gorgeous Grape, Berry Burst and Granny Apple Green ink and I added some retired pink ribbon and Adhesive Backed Trio Sequins for accents.

Give Thanks

I have used the Courage and Faith stamp set again for this simple card using a couple different designs from the Flowering Zinnias designer series paper collection. 

I pulled Lemon Lolly card stock into the mix from one of the patterns I chose to use and decided to use that color for my card base. 

The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and is on a die cut made with the Deckled Rectangles dies. There are some Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots added for more color.

March Stamp Club Projects

There was lots of colors and patterns used in the stamp club projects this month and I also chose several products that were online exclusives as well.

The first card uses several items from the Flowering Zinnias suite of products along with the Nested Essentials dies. The card stock colors are Lemon Lolly, Gorgeous Grape and Basic White.

Our next card uses products from the A Little Late suite along with some Stampin' Write markers, Basic White and Pecan Pie card stock.

Finally, the layout showcases the Sweet Thoughts Memories and More card pack along with coordinating card stock colors - Garden Green, Flirty Flamingo, Crushed Curry, Pretty Peacock and Basic White.

Simple Zinnia

I think Zinnias are one of my favorite flowers and this new online exclusive suite from Stampin' Up! is also one of my favorites of the new items that were just released. 

I used this simple card for a couple of my classes recently using the stamp set and a small piece of the designer series paper in this suite. 

My background is Crumb Cake card stock and the image is stamped with the same color of ink. Over the top of that is a piece of the designer series paper and a die cut made with the Deckled Rectangles dies. The sentiment is also stamped with Crumb Cake ink.

You could add more color to the card by adding some of the coordinating Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins as well.
