Hydrangea Sympathy

There are so many great products that are on the retiring list it is difficult to share them all with you.  On this sympathy card, I used the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper which is one of those retiring items.  I just love the color combination in the collection! Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather, Old Olive, Misty Moonlight, Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Whisper White

The sentiment is from a retired stamp set called Heartfelt Sympathy which is one of my all time favorites.  For the die cuts, I used the Stitched Rectangles dies and Stitched So Sweetly dies, adding a square vellum doily behind them.

Blue Hydrangea

One of my favorite two step stamping sets is the Hydrangea Haven set that coordinates with the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper.  

I die cut a Stitched Rectangle and then used it for my focal point and stamping layer.  In the background, I used the Lace 3D embossing folder on a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock and added a thin strip of Hydrangea Hill designer series paper.

Strength and Peace

I just love the colors and patterns in the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper.  For this card, I paired it with some Oh So Ombre designer series paper from Sale-a-bration, die cutting the sentiment layers from that collection.

The sentiments are from the Path of Petals stamp set and are stamped with Highland Heather ink.

Hydrangea Congrats

One of the reasons I love the Hydrangea Hill designer series paper is the color combinations, since I love shades of purple.  Of course, the coordinating stamp set is also one of my favorites so putting them together is always fun.

I used a couple different layouts for these two cards, but the main image is the same, using the Hydrangea Haven stamp set.  I added some Square Vellum doilies and baker's twine as well.

The Balmy Blue background behind the flower images is made with one of the stamps in the set that was just stamped repeatedly with a little overlap.

Birthday Boxes

The mini Paper Pumpkin boxes are fun to decorate for small gifts or treats and are food safe as well.  I used a couple different collections of designer series paper for these birthday boxes and also used different stamp sets for the sentiments.

The first box uses the Hydrangea Hill dsp and Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set.

I die cut the sentiment layer with the Stitched So Sweetly dies and then added some pastel pearls for accents.

The second box uses the Sale-a-bration paper called Berry Blessings and I used the Many Messages stamp set and Messages die for the sentiment.

Purple Hydrangea

I have had so much fun playing with new products from the upcoming mini catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog!  This week, I will again share more new product ideas with you, starting today with the Hydrangea Hill collection.

I stamped the background with Purple Posy ink and added the flower image with Memento Black ink before adding the second step stamp with Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive ink.  There is some Fine Art 3/8" ribbon and Pastel Pearls used as accents.

The image is framed with the Stitched Rectangle framelits die cuts and I also added some Hydrangea Hill designer series paper to the card base in the background.
