Autumn birthday

One more autumn themed card for this week, this time a simple one using only a few colors and layers.

The Basic Beige circle in the background was made with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set and the leaf on top with the Autmn Leaves stamp set. 

The sentiment is from the Country Birdhouse stamp set and is stamped with Cajun Craze ink.

Flowing Flowers

This is another thank you card in the collection I gave as wedding gifts recently and it uses the retired stamp set Flowing Flowers (January - June 2022 mini catalog) along with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set.

The die cuts are made using the Basic Border Dies and Beautiful Shapes dies, both are cut from Purple Posy card stock. There are also a few Faux Sea Glass embellishments added over the stamped images.

Watercolor Birthday

A while ago when I was creating this card, my daughter looked at it and told me that is really different from most of the cards I put together and she is probably correct. The layout may be similar to things I have done in the past, but the stamping with shapes is not so common...she thought it was fun 😊

I used the Watercolor Shapes stamp set and Highland Heather, Pool Party and Polished Pink ink to create the pattern on the card and the sentiment layer. There is a small piece of 6" x 6" glimmer paper to add a little bling as well.

Perfect Birthday

I wanted to do something with the large flower image in the Blessings of Home stamp set that did not include coloring it in with Stampin' Write markers or Stampin' Blends. For something different, I pulled out the Watercolor Shapes stamp set and Balmy Blue, Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam ink pads.

Then I added the flower image with Crumb Cake ink, popped up the sentiment with Stampin' Dimensionals and added a few Faux Sea Glass shapes to complete the project.

Watercolor Harvest

This is a simple card that pairs the Nature's Harvest and Watercolor Shapes stamp sets.  It will be one I use for a card class coming up in November at a crafting retreat and I wanted to make it work for more than one level of card making skill.

The background shape is stamped with Purple Posy ink and the flowers and sentiment with Memento Black.  The die cut was made with the Stitched so Sweetly dies and added to the card with Stampin' dimensionals.

Love and Hugs

These cards started out with the idea of making some one layer cards with the Watercolor Shapes stamp set, but I ended up adding a couple small layers and some embellishments to step it up a bit.

In the background, I played with some different colors on the card bases and then added some stamped images from the Stitchery stamp set.  Next, I die cut some circles from the Pattern Party designer series paper using the Picture This dies and finally used the Many Happenings stamp set and Many Messages die to create my sentiment layer.  There are also a few 2021-2023 In Color Jewels added as accents.
