I have had a lot of fun playing around with the Split Textures dies and have definitely found that it is wise to use the adhesive sheets on the card stock prior to die cutting.

For this card, I added some Painted Christmas designer series paper behind the die cut and used the Hope and Peace stamp set for the sentiment. Both the punch and embellishments are retired...

Sheltering You

I just love the painted backgrounds that are included in the Hues of Happiness designer series paper collection. Recently, I put together a few sympathy cards using the Dragonfly Garden stamp set along with a couple of the different colored painted backgrounds from this collection.

Decorated with Happiness

One of the items that will be on the Last Chance list starting December 1st if the stamp set and bundle called Decorated with Happiness. It is a two-step stamping set that is a bit whimsical and fun to play around with.

I added lots of different ink colors, using different colors for each of the two steps and another for the snowflakes in the background. The sentiment is punched out using the Lasting Label punch and the accents are 2021 - 2023 In Color Jewels.

Watercolor Rain Boots

I put together a few cards using the Flowering Rain Boots stamp set and Rain Boots dies using a background created with Watercolor Paper, ink and Aqua Painters.

I love the way this background works with the rain boots and decided to make several of them using different colors for the card bases. I added some retired clear epoxy raindrops for a little "extra"...

I just love the Soft Seedlings stamp set and wanted to create a card with the main image in a non-traditional color. For this card, I chose Blushing Bride as the ink color for the leaves...

In the background, I added a piece of Textured Chic specialty paper to tie in the ink color.  The sentiment is stamped on a die cut made with the Stitched Rectangles dies and I added some Glossy dots for accents.

November Stamp Club Projects

Our stamp club projects this month again used lots of different products as I was trying out a few new things when I created them.

For the first card, we used the Bottled Happiness bundle along with some Tea Boutique designer series paper. The textured piece of Bermuda Bay card stock was embossed with the Painted 3d folder, and the die cut behind the bottle was made with the Decorative Tags dies. For embellishments, I chose to use a few 

Iridescent basic pearls.

On card number two, we used the Graceful Tiles stamp set along with the Beautiful Shapes dies and some Design a Daydream designer series paper. The sentiment die cut was created with the Stylish Shapes dies and the there is a strip of Soft Sea Foam seam binding ribbon as well.

For our layout, I chose to incorporate some Decorative Tag die cuts and the Vellum Layering designs with Mossy Meadow, Merry Merlot, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Soft Sea Foam card stock.

Festive Ornaments

This weekend, my daughter and I are going to a scrapbooking retreat, and I put together some fun and easy little ornaments to give to all those who are attending.
