Sympathy in Neutrals

For this sympathy card I decided to use neutral colors along with the Something Fancy dies. The card base is Basic Beige card stock, and the designer series paper is from the Neutrals 6" x 6" collection.

The two die cuts are made with the Wildflower Designs Dies and the Greetings of the Season dies. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set.

Today I am again using a mix of current and retired products on my card, I often get rid of many of my retired items, but there are some that I just do not want to part with and the Nature's Harvest stamp and die set is one I kept.

In the background, I have part of a cork sheet - this material is so easy to cut and work with - I wish we still had it in our catalogs! The frame that comes next is made with Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper and the Darling Details dies (they will be retiring).

Deepest Sympathy

I have said before how much I like to mix and match designer series paper collections, it is one of my favorite things to do on cards. This card uses both the Let's Go Fishing collection and the Fresh as a Daisy collection.

After layering and matting all the designer series paper, I added my sentiment from Something Fancy that was stamped with Pebbled Path ink and popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Happily Ever Afters

Sometimes there are just too many beautiful options in designer series paper packages! I found that to be the case in the All About Autumn collection which was in the Holiday Mini catalog, one side had beautiful fall scenes and the other had designs with foil elements in various color and patterns.

I chose three of those patterns for this card and added them to the Very Vanilla card base before adding a sentiment from the Something Fancy stamp set that was stamped on a die cut made with the Stylish Shapes dies.

A very simple card that uses several layers to make it look like more.

Sentimental Sympathy

As I am needing more and more sympathy cards for myself and my customers, I have been trying to come up with some new ideas. This one pairs Blackberry Bliss and Gray Granite card stock with some Delightful Floral designer series paper for the background.

Nothing Fancy

There are lots and lots of die cuts and layers on this card, I love layering the die cuts made with the Radiating Stitched Dies. On this card, I have used that die set with Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo card stock to create the three rectangle layers and the heart.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set and the die cut was made using the All That dies. There are a few Iridescent Basic Pearls added for accents.
