Cork and Inked Birthday

While we always get great new products with the new annual catalogs, it is sometimes difficult to say goodbye to other great products. The Inked Botanicals designer series paper, All That Dies and Darling Details dies which are all used on this card are retiring...

Thinking, Praying and Hoping

I really like the sentiments in the Comforting Thoughts stamp set and I have made a few different cards with it recently. This one pairs the stamp set with the Forever Love specialty designer series paper.

I used three different patterns from the specialty paper collection, this is another product that I really love because of the color combinations. The sentiment layer is die cut with the All That dies and is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink.

Nothing Fancy

There are lots and lots of die cuts and layers on this card, I love layering the die cuts made with the Radiating Stitched Dies. On this card, I have used that die set with Gray Granite, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo card stock to create the three rectangle layers and the heart.

The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set and the die cut was made using the All That dies. There are a few Iridescent Basic Pearls added for accents.

I was trying to figure out some ways to use the Brushed Metallic paper and this card is one of them that I came up with. It is paired with the Legendary Ride Suite and the All That dies.

I die cut the motorcycle pieces using Basic Black card stock and Silver Foil paper. The "Celebrate" is from the Framed Florets 

stamp set.

Metal Plate Birthday

I have been using quite a few of my masculine birthday cards lately so I needed to put together a few more options. This card is one of them that I came up with recently.

The background is a piece of Perfectly Penciled designer series paper with a piece of Silver Foil that has been embossed with the Metal Plate 3D embossing folder on top. The popped-up die cuts are made with the All That dies and Tahitian Tide and Crumb Cake card stock. For the sentiment, I chose a stamp from the Artistically Inked stamp set.

Happiest of Birthdays

I was in need of some masculine cards and wanted to use the He's the Man designer series paper in some way, so I decided to cut some 1" strips of different patterns and attach them to a piece of Basic White card stock.

My strips were cut to about 5" in length and once you have them in place, you can just trim the extra off the edges.

Welcome Little One

Well, I think I will be back and able to keep the posts coming, hopefully without any hiccups...we finished harvest and while there is still lots to do, my schedule should allow for at least a little fun time for creating!

I was able to take part in Stampin' Up!'s World Card Making Day Virtual Event and the stamp set I used on this card was one of those showcased that day. The Warm Welcome bundle (see below) has a lot of versatility to it and the first card I am going to share with you that I created with it is actually a baby card.

In the background, I used the retired set called Gorgeous Leaves to create a splotchy base with Balmy Blue ink (I also made several of the same cards using Polished Pink in place of Balmy Blue).
