How Did I Get So Lucky?

Here is another card using the Paper Blooms designer series paper from Sale-a-bration.  It is paired with a retired stamp set called Thanks for the Laughs that I really love.

I cut two strips of the designer series paper and mixing the patterns added them to a piece of Night of Navy card stock, the spot where they two patterns meet is also covered by a strip of Night of Navy card stock before I added the sentiment that was die cut with the Tasteful Labels dies.

Memory Boards

Whew! We made it through graduation and the open house...These are a couple of picture boards I put together to hang on the walls for the open house.

Each one is covered with designer series paper (which mostly is covered by pictures but you can see a little bit of it peeking through)...

I used the Strong and Beautiful, Capture the Good and Thanks for the laughs stamp sets on lots of different die cuts...

Stitched Nested Labels, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Stitched So Sweetly dies...

I still have a few projects to share that I made awhile ago and hope to be able to find some time for new ones soon!

I love the Thanks for the Laughs stamp set that is in the mini catalog (look to the bottom of the post to see the sayings that are included ).  Here are a few cards using one of the sentiments from that set...

I paired it with the Tasteful Textures stamp set and a few die cuts from the Stitched Shapes and Stitched Nested labels collections.

The background on this one is embossed with the Button Button folder and I added a piece of Sale-a-bration designer series paper as well.

Each one has a few self adhesive sequins from a past Paper Pumpkin kit for accents.

Friends for So Long

Well, I guess I was gone for a little more than just Christmas week...it is amazing how I used to be able to get more stamping time when the kids were not teenagers.  

Today starts the fist day of Sale-a-bration and the Occasions catalog so I wanted to share something new with you!  

This card has three new items...the Thanks for the laughs stamp set (sentiment), the Stitched so sweetly dies and the Lovely Lily Pad stamp set (Sale-a-bration set).

I have several layers of Blueberry Bushel card stock on this one, the designer series paper in the background comes from the Pressed Petals collection and it is sandwiched between two of the Blueberry Bushel layers.  

The top two layers are die cut with the Stitched so Sweetly dies and my sentiment is stamped with Soft Suede ink while the flowers and petals are stamped with Balmy Blue, Blueberry Bushel, Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive inks.
