Extreme Snowboard

Baby it's cold outside...our Late Night Stampers theme this week and I thought this would qualify :)  My boys (8 and 7) love it because of the snowboarder, they love to ride down the little hill their dad pushed up for them outside as often as possible.

Colors:
Whisper White, Early Espresso, Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, Pear Pizazz
Extreme Snowboard, Extreme Elements and Grunge Rock stamp sets
dotted scallop ribbon border punch

The lines on the image initially were an accident.  I dropped my ink pad on the card stock after I stamped the snowboarder and it made a line from the side of the pad.  So I went with it and added more lines using the edge of my ink pad and I kind of like the effect.

Bubbles and Glitter

This week at Late Night Stampers, we have a challenge to use only White, Blue and Silver on a card.  On this one, I altered my glossy white card stock with bubbles and reinkers and then added a silver embossed image called Extreme Snowboard.  Then tore some whisper white card stock and added it to look like layers of snow.  On the edges I added crystal effects and White Chunky Glitter and then heated it up, partly to dry it and partly to pop it up a little.
The sentiment is from the Friends Rock Stamp set and on the Marina Mist base, I spritzed some Platinum shimmer paint (mixed with alcohol).  The layer behind the glossy white card stock is Pacific Point.

Here is a closer look at the snow.
