Nature's Sympathy

Today I am again using a mix of current and retired products on my card, I often get rid of many of my retired items, but there are some that I just do not want to part with and the Nature's Harvest stamp and die set is one I kept.

In the background, I have part of a cork sheet - this material is so easy to cut and work with - I wish we still had it in our catalogs! The frame that comes next is made with Fresh as a Daisy designer series paper and the Darling Details dies (they will be retiring).

The flowers were stamped with the Nature's Harvest stamp set and Memento Black ink, then colored in with Stampin' Write markers and die cut with the matching die. The sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set.

Best Ever

This card consists of about half retired products and half current products and shows that you can use holiday themed designer series paper for more than just the holiday it is designed for.

The retired items I have used on this card are the Cheery Patterns folder, Merry Bold and Bright designer series paper, Silver Foil paper and the In Color Ombre Glimmer Paper (I am actually not sure if that is the correct name). 

In addition, I used the Simply Sparkling bundle and current card stock colors.

The little silver bubbles or dots are the negative part of one of the dies in the Simply Sparkling set. I also used one of the Radiating Stitches dies for the glimmer paper piece.

Lots of Patterns

I am still using the retired designer series paper collection called All About Autumn. It came in a 6" x 6" pack and while one side had nature scenes, the other had patterns with shimmery designs. 

I have two different cards to show you using those shimmery designs, both of which use the Darling Details stamp set for the sentiments.

On the first one, I also used one of the little flower stamps on some Cherry Cobbler card stock and the two layers for the sentiment are die cut with the Deckled Rectangles dies.

For the second card, I used two of the three of the patterns layered on top of each other and a retired die cut for my sentiment.

Give Thanks

I have used the Courage and Faith stamp set again for this simple card using a couple different designs from the Flowering Zinnias designer series paper collection. 

I pulled Lemon Lolly card stock into the mix from one of the patterns I chose to use and decided to use that color for my card base. 

The sentiment is stamped with Pretty Peacock ink and is on a die cut made with the Deckled Rectangles dies. There are some Rainbow Adhesive Backed Dots added for more color.

Let's Catch Up

There are lots of color schemes you can use when you are using the designs from A Little Latte designer series paper collection, for this card, I used Petal Pink and Pecan Pie.

I used two pieces of the same design and matted them both on Pecan Pie card stock for the background. There are circles punched with the 2 1/4" and 2 3/8" circle punches under the coffee cup that is cut out with a paper snips from the designer series paper. The sentiment is stamped on a die made with a retired set and I added some Adhesive Baked Swirl Dots for accents.
