I am going to probably take a little (hopefully) break from sharing projects with you while we get the crops in the ground.  Hopefully it won't be a long break, but I never know how it will all go...

So the last card I will share for awhile uses the Share what you love specialty paper as the background for the Dandelion Wishes stamp set.  I added a couple stitched die cuts as well, using the Stitched Seasons and Rectangle Stitched framelits. 

There is also a strip of Old Olive card stock added to the side on the inside of the card.  It is about 3/4" long...

Paper Pumpkin Alternative

The last Paper Pumpkin alternative idea for the April kit is a 12 x 12 scrapbook layout using a base of Whisper White along with some Gray Granite and Mint Macaron card stock.

The rest of the pieces are from the kit and I also added Flirty Flamingo, So Saffron and Mint Macaron ink to the stamps from the kit.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards Take 2

I have a few more alternative card ideas for the April Paper Pumpkin kit - these are using only the stamp set and some other ink and card stock colors...

I chose Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide for my inks and added a sentiment from the Kindness and Compassion stamp set.  

The card bases are Very Vanilla, Whisper White and Crumb Cake while the top layers are Soft Suede and Gray Granite.

Paper Pumpkin Alternative Cards

Well, when it rains...I play catch up and sometimes I even get to my craft room!  This time I was able to play around with the April Paper Pumpkin kit.  The first three pictures show some alternative ideas for making cards with the pieces in the kit.

For the card above, I used a base of Gray Granite card stock and cut down the pieces in the kit adding them in layers...

Next, I added more stamping and colors to some existing pieces...

And lastly, I used another Gray Granite card base, did lots of stamping on it and added some layers from the kit.

The two pictures below are the cards and holder the way the kit was intended to be made...

Painted Graduation

Another Graduation card today using two of the same stamp sets as the previous one, along with a set called Painted Harvest.  The Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set provided the sentiment which is also punched out with the Classic label punch, and the Birthday Backgrounds set is used on the card base.

I also added a strip of Pool Party card stock that was embossed with the Tin tile folder and some basic rhinestones for accents and texture.

Graduation will be here before we know it, thankfully I have another year before I have to think about my son's graduation but I know it will go pretty quickly!  

This card was made using the numbers from the bonus stamp set we received in the March Paper Pumpkin kit along with the Itty Bitty Greetings and Birthday Background stamp sets.  I also added some stars from a previous Paper Pumpkin kit for a few accents.
