Painted Sympathy

It seems like I can never had enough sympathy cards on hand so here is another one for the week, this time using the Painted Harvest and Touched My Heart stamp sets.

In the background, I have used two different patterns from the In Good Taste designer series paper package and stamped on the top one with Seaside Foam, Balmy Blue and Crumb Cake inks. The twine behind the sentiment is from the Flowers for Every Season ribbon combo collection.

Painted Kindness

While this stamp set is retired, I still like to play with it once in awhile and try different color combinations for the flowers.  I have found I lean toward the purple shades a lot...

It is paired with the In Good Taste designer series paper which has become one of my favorites (and there are lots and lots of sheets which I love!) and the Tasteful Labels dies.  For some accents I added Braided linen trim and In color enamel dots.

More Alternative Cards for August

Here are a few more card ideas using the August Paper Pumpkin kit - next time I will share a scrapbooking layout as well.

I have added Whisper White card bases and strips of Merry Merlot or Mossy Meadow card stock on each of these in addition to the kit items.  The sentiments also come from different stamp sets. 

The sentiment on the card above is from the Love What You Do stamp set and it is stamped on a die cut from the Stitched Nested Labels collection...

The sentiment on the final two cards is from the Painted Harvest stamp set.

Painted Graduation

Another Graduation card today using two of the same stamp sets as the previous one, along with a set called Painted Harvest.  The Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set provided the sentiment which is also punched out with the Classic label punch, and the Birthday Backgrounds set is used on the card base.

I also added a strip of Pool Party card stock that was embossed with the Tin tile folder and some basic rhinestones for accents and texture.

Wood Textures Sympathy

I have seen some cards made with the combination of Wood Textures designer series paper and the Painted Harvest stamp set and wanted to make a few sympathy cards with the combination...

On the lighter designer series paper I used Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick for the flowers and on the darker one I used Blueberry Bushel and Balmy Blue ink.

The sentiment is from Kindness and Compassion and I added some linen thread for an accent.

This card uses several of the same elements as the card I shared with you yesterday - Itty Bitty Greetings, Stitched Labels framelits and Frosted floral specialty paper...

I used a different stitched label die cut and stamped an image from the hostess set called Very Vintage in Gray Granite ink on it.  The sentiment is stamped with Tranquil Tide and I used a leaf stamp from the Painted Harvest stamp set on the background.

Seasons Greetings

Happy Thanksgiving!  

Today's card isn't really in that theme, but I wanted to share it with you today anyway.  I used the Painted Harvest stamp set to create a wreath and added a banner using a sentiment from the Wishing You Well stamp set.

There is also a tree image on the card base from the Winter Woods stamp set and I added some Joyous Noel specialty paper on the base as well.  For accents, I used some adhesive backed sequins and 5/8" Merry Merlot and Copper reversible ribbon.

Thankful For You

I recently donated some cards for an auction and fundraiser locally and put together a few of these cards to include with the donation.  The stamp set called Painted Harvests is fitting for this time of year in North Dakota as we are currently harvesting potatoes on our farm.

I used Crushed Curry and Mango Melody ink for the flowers and Soft Suede and Early Espresso for the inside of them.  There is a piece of Natures' Poem designer series paper and a doily behind the matted stamped layer as well.

Delightfully Detailed

One of the new specialty papers in the Idea Book and Catalog is called Delightfully Detailed Laser Cut specialty paper and there are may patterns that you can choose from including a whole sheet design along with other pieces that can be easily cut into smaller pieces.  One side is vanilla and the other is white.

I chose one of the long patterns for this card and cut it down to 5" long.  The stamp set used is called Painted Harvest and I used the new color called Merry Merlot for the base and the sentiment ink.  There is also an added metal adhesive flower from the Share What You Love embellishment collection.

April Stamp Club Projects

It is time to share my monthly stamp club projects once again.  Since we are still impatiently awaiting spring I tried to incorporate some spring things into the projects this month!  

The first card uses Watercolor Wash as a background for the Butterfly Basics images that are popped up on the die cut circle.

For the second card, I chose Painted Harvest and several colors of green for the leaves also incorporating the leaf and classic label punches.

Finally for the layout, I used some Naturally Eclectic designer series paper scallop circle punches - this theme isn't necessarily spring, but the colors are bright and cheerful!

Simple Sunflower

This is really a card for anything and I have left it without a sentiment, for the moment at least.  The flower layers are stamped with Daffodil Delight and Peekaboo Peach ink and the center with Early Espresso.   I love the 1/4" double stitched ribbon that is in the Catalog and Idea book and I have used a piece to accent the corner of the flower layer on this card.  The ribbon is also available in Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride.

Autumn Sympathy

Yesterday I shared a card that is in my current Stamp A Stack rotation and today I have another to share with you.  This one uses the Painted Harvest stamp set along with a sentiment from the Flourishing Phrases set.

I added some Bundle of Love specialty paper and layered Stitched Shapes framelits, popping up the squares over the top of the specialty paper.  

The flower is stamped with Perfect Plum, So Saffron and Fresh Fig ink.

Give Thanks Box and Product Preview

Before I share today's project, I wanted to share some exciting news about a new product that will be coming soon from Stampin' Up! called the Stamparatus.  The video below will explain all the details!

Today's project is along the same lines as yesterday's cards although I chose to use one of our retired boxes with an acetate sleeve.  I first covered the box and lid with Painted Autumn designer series paper and put the acetate sleeve over the top.

Some cotton ribbon went around the acetate sleeve to break up the designer series paper pattern a little bit.  Then, I did my stamping and punching and added those elements with Stampin' Dimensionals.

For these cards, I played around with a couple different things using the same layout and colors.  The Pumpkin Pie background is embossed with the Polka Dot Basics folder and then I added some Painted Autumn designer series paper on one side.

Next, I stamped the leaves and cut them out with the paper snips before attaching them.  For the card on the left, I used the Oh So Eclectic stamp set and used my Stampin' Blends to color in the flower.  On the right, I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Soft Suede ink.
