Blank Vintage

Recently I put together some blank cards for a customer using pinks and grays.  For this one, I chose to use some Frosted Floral specialty designer series paper and Tropical Escape designer series paper in the background. 

I stamped the flower image from the Very Vintage hostess stamp set on the card base with Powder Pink ink and also stamped the same image on Whisper White and punched it out.  The partial doily image from the same stamp set was added with Gray Granite ink to the punched out circle as well.

To accent the layers, I used some sprigs punched out from Old Olive card stock, basic rhinestones and a punched out Starburst circle.

This card uses several of the same elements as the card I shared with you yesterday - Itty Bitty Greetings, Stitched Labels framelits and Frosted floral specialty paper...

I used a different stitched label die cut and stamped an image from the hostess set called Very Vintage in Gray Granite ink on it.  The sentiment is stamped with Tranquil Tide and I used a leaf stamp from the Painted Harvest stamp set on the background.

Forever and Always

Happy New Year!  

I pulled out a thinlit set that I haven't used for quite awhile when I put together this card.  It is called Detailed floral thinlits and I used some Gold foil paper with it.

For the background, I used some Frosted floral specialty paper, I just love the shimmer on the paper and the color combinations as well.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bity Greetings set and is stamped on a die cut from the Stitched label framelits.

Thoughts and Prayers

The Frosted Floral specialty paper has such pretty designs in it, I hate to even use it sometimes!  If you are also a fan of this paper, make sure to get some before it is gone as it will be retiring with the Holiday catalog.

Both my card  bases were stamped with some flower images from Number of Years as I thought the flower petals looked similar to those on the paper.  My sentiment is from the Wishing you well stamp set - another favorite!

Odds and Ends

These cards were made using a bunch of pieces in the scrap box - the sentiment layer I had already stamped and not used previously.  These pieces were from the retired Cupcakes and carousels embellishment kit.  

Next I added random pieces of designer series paper that I had - Wood Textures, Share what you love and Frosted florals.  On each one I also used a Stitched shape framelit as an accent layer and place some candy dots on a couple of them as well.

Your Day

I love the Frosted Floral designer series paper from the Holiday catalog and have used two of the patterns on this card.  It is really a simple one using lots of layers.

My designer series paper is layered on Fresh Fig card stock and my sentiment from Happiness Surrounds is layered onto some Joyous Noel glimmer paper.

To create this card, I used a couple different hostess stamp sets  - Very Vintage and Seasoned with Kindness...

I stamped some images on my Soft Sea Foam card base before I added layers of card stock and specialty paper.  The squares were die cut with the Layering Squares framelits and the Stitched Shapes framelits.  The floral paper is part of the Frosted Floral specialty paper collection.

Love Celebrating You

One of the hostess stamp sets in the Idea Book and Catalog is called Hand Delivered and has some fun images you can mix and match.  The cards I made below I designed for birthday cards, but also thought they would be good for a bridal shower.

There is some Frosted Floral specialty paper behind the Stitched Seasons die cut that I stamped on and the images were colored in with Stampin' Blends markers.  I added a little bit of chalk marker to accent a few of the balloons as well.

Hello

The stamp set I used on this card has so many fun examples floating out there on blogs and pinterest.  I just love the little can and pitcher in the sent!  On this card, I colored the can with Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends and cut it out with my paper snips. 

The background textures include the Tin Tile dynamic impressions folder, Chicken wire elements and some Frosted Floral specialty paper.  I added a piece of Mint Macaron that was stamped with the little matching tile stamp and Blackberry Bliss ink as well.

Fall Sympathy

I am repeatedly drawn to the Wishing You Well stamp set these days not only for the images, but the varied occasions of the greetings.  

For the background of this card I added some Frosted Floral specialty paper and then I double stamped the image of the bouquet, first in Crushed Curry and then in Cajun Craze.  To finish it off, I added a bow tied with linen thread.
