Forever and Always

Happy New Year!
I pulled out a thinlit set that I haven't used for quite awhile when I put together this card.  It is called Detailed floral thinlits and I used some Gold foil paper with it.

For the background, I used some Frosted floral specialty paper, I just love the shimmer on the paper and the color combinations as well.  The sentiment is from the Itty Bity Greetings set and is stamped on a die cut from the Stitched label framelits.

Supplies:
Itty Bitty greetings
Gray Granite ink
Tranquil Tide, Soft Suede ,Whisper White card stock
Gold foil sheets
Frosted floral specialty paper

Stitched shapes framelits

Showers of Happiness

As I mentioned earlier this week, I was working on some various bridal shower cards recently and this is another sample, this time I chose to use the Detailed Floral thinlit dies as my focus.  I cut the pieces from the card base and added a piece of So Saffron card stock behind it with rolled up glue dots so that it was popped up just a little bit.

I again used the Moon Baby stamp set for the sentiment (quite a handy set to have around!) and added some Sending Love embellishments and some basic pearls as accents.

Supplies:
Moon Baby
Basic Black ink
Very Vanilla, So Saffron card stock
Sending Love embellishments
basic pearls

Detailed Things

I generally tend to stay away from fussy detailed dies on my projects but that is one thing I am trying to start to use more.  The Die Brush definitely makes it easier to get all those fussy little pieces out once you run the die and paper through the Big Shot.

On this card I used the Detailed Floral thinlits on some Pear Pizzazz card stock and added some Fabulous Foil designer acetate between that layer and a piece of Sweet Sugarplum card stock.

The acetate is difficult to see in the pictures and maybe was a step I didn't really need on this one.

Supplies:
Layering Love
Sweet Sugarplum ink
Sweet Sugarplum, Pear Pizzazz, Crumb Cake, Whisper White card stock
3/8" metallic ribbon (SAB 2017)
Detailed floral thinlits
Fabulous foil designer acetate
