The sentiment layer is made with the Stitched Rectangles dies and there are some Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels for accents.

Birthday Expressions

When we went across the state a couple weeks ago for a baseball tournament, I knew I would be in the hotel room with a lot of downtime and brought a bunch of card pieces to put together.  This is one of the cards I made multiples of using the Eclectic Expressions (SAB 2018) and Guy Greetings stamp sets and the Share What You Love specialty paper.

The label is from the Stitched Label framelits collection and the second pattern of designer series paper is punched out with the Starburst folder.  The cards were quick and easy to put together because I had already stamped, cut and punched everything.

Supplies:
Guy Greetings, Eclectic Expressions (SAB 2018)
Basic Black, Gray Granite, Balmy Blue, Mint Macaron ink
Whisper White card stock

With Gratitude

One of the new colors in the brights collection is called Gorgeous Grape and while I am a big fan of purples, this one will take me some time to get used to I think.  It is the color I used for the card base and also the petals on the flower I stamped (although it was stamped off twice on scratch paper first to lighten it up).

My background leaves are from the hostess stamp set called Pressed Flowers and the flower near the sentiment is from the same set.  The sentiment comes from Itty Bitty Greetings and I know that everyone will find some great sayings in that one!

I added some Nature's Twine and basic rhinestones along with a punched Starburst and die cut from the Stitched labels collection.

Supplies:
Itty Bitty Greetings, Pressed Flowers (hostess)
Tranquil Tide, Gorgeous Grape ink
Whisper White, Gorgeous Grape, Night of Navy card stock

May Stamp Club Projects

I probably should be sharing these projects individually this month instead of all together if I want to keep my blog posts going...we are busy planting wheat and soybeans right now as we also ship seed potatoes and haul in the seed potatoes that we will start planting on Monday.  Crazy time of year for us and then we add in the boys playing spring baseball....! So if the blog goes silent for a few days or a day here and there, you will know why.

This month, I chose to use some sneak peek items and some that are retiring.  For the first card, I chose a Hostess stamp set that is in the Occasions catalog called Yay you and paired it with returning color Mint Macaron and new In Color Grapefruit Grove.

The second card pairs the Share What You Love designer series paper with some Wood Textures designer series paper and the Love What You Do stamp set.

Finally, the layout uses some Pick a Pattern designer series paper and one of my favorite embellishments, glitter enamel dots.  We will have more fun embellishments coming out soon and I can't wait to play with all of them!

Some of the retiring products have been discounted - YEAH.  You can still get items while they last...

The Two of You

This card was made working off some scraps (and I really need to do more of this again to use a bunch of those scraps up!).  I started with the designer series paper piece and went from there...

The stamp set I chose is in the Occasions catalog and is called Petal Palette.  I decided to highlight the sentiment using punches and layers - Pool Party card stock punched out with the Starburst punch and the sentiment layer punched out with the 2" circle punch.

Supplies:

December Stamp Club Projects

In the spirit of the clearance rack and year end sale - this time around I chose to use some retired items for our stamp club projects.  I used several patterns of retired designer series paper in both the layout and the stockings and also a few retired embellishments on the stockings.

Even though the layout uses some Christmas themed paper, it could be used for lots of different occasions.

I wanted to do something more than just cards this time so I put together a gift tag and a pillow box stocking using the Trim your stockings dies.

The card uses the Seasonal layers thinlits and Colorful Seasons stamp set along with some Wood textures designer series paper and the everyday label punch.

Contact me if you would like more information about my stamp clubs!  We always welcome new members.

Painted Autumn

For these cards, I played around with a couple different things using the same layout and colors.  The Pumpkin Pie background is embossed with the Polka Dot Basics folder and then I added some Painted Autumn designer series paper on one side.

Next, I stamped the leaves and cut them out with the paper snips before attaching them.  For the card on the left, I used the Oh So Eclectic stamp set and used my Stampin' Blends to color in the flower.  On the right, I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach and Soft Suede ink.

Supplies:
Painted Harvest, Oh So Eclectic, Big on Birthdays
Basic Black, Soft Suede, Daffodil Delight, Peekaboo Peach, Lemon Lime Twist ink

Joyful Star

I found some cute wooden stars recently and decided I wanted to play around with decorating them in a holiday theme.  This is the first creation using the Cheers to the Years stamp set.

I tried to tie in the colors that the star was already painted in with the inks and card stock colors so I chose Whisper White, Pink Pirouette, Soft Suede and Crumb Cake.

We have some super fun embellishments in the Holiday catalog that I also added - Green Sprigs and Mini ornaments and then I added some burlap ribbon and rhinestones for more accents.  The layers are added with a glue gun with the exception of the card stock.

Supplies:
Cheers to the Years
Pink Pirouette, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede ink
Soft Suede, Whisper White card stock
Burlap ribbon
Starburst punch
Mini ornaments
Linen thread
Green sprigs
Rhinestones

This card is one with few layers, but it has lots of stamping using the Oh So Eclectic stamp set.  I chose to use the colors Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, So Saffron and Basic Black.

The sentiment is from the retired set called Trust God and I punched it out with the 2" circle punch and then added a layer with the Starburst punch and popped it up with Stampin' dimensionals.
