Today I have again used the Witty-Cisms stamp set for a couple of baby cards.  The images are colored in with Stampin' Blends to coordinate with each designer series paper.

For the girl card, I chose to use the Best Dressed designer series paper...

and for the boy card I chose some Golden Honey specialty paper (SAB 2020) and a strip of retired paper as well.

The stamped pieces are cut out using the retired Seasonal Layers thinlits.

There is a fun new stamp set in the Mini catalog called Witty-Cisms and there are lots of different occasions you can use it for.  I will be sharing lots of card samples from this set in the next few weeks but here is the first one...

Well Wishes

My favorite collection of designer series paper from the Holiday catalog is the Come to Gather paper.  For this card, I have used three of the patterns along with some die cuts using the Seasonal layers thinlits.

The sentiment is from Dandelion Wishes and I have cut that layer and its mat out with the 2 1/4" and 2" circle punches.

Dear Friend

Today I have another friend card using the Very Vintage hostess stamp set.  For this one, I used a Crumb Cake base and added a piece of Country Lane designer series paper along with a die cut leaf from the Seasonal Layers thinlits collection.

My sentiment is stamped on a piece from the Share what you love embellishments collection and the pearls are from a Paper Pumpkin kit.  Over the middle of the doily, I added a starburst punched out of Early Espresso card stock.

Layered Leaves

Awhile ago, I had die cut a bunch of leaves from the Seasonal layers thinlits collection and hadn't used all of them on the project I was working with.  A few days ago I pulled them out and decided to put the rest to use...

There are two versions of the same card concept - one uses Crumb Cake as a base and a layer of Mossy Meadow that is embossed with the Brick wall folder, the other uses a Whisper White card base and piece of Wood Textures designer series paper.  

I added some 3/16" braided linen trim behind the Stitched Shapes framelits oval with my sentiment and also added a few Frosted and clear and epoxy droplets for accents.

December Stamp Club Projects

In the spirit of the clearance rack and year end sale - this time around I chose to use some retired items for our stamp club projects.  I used several patterns of retired designer series paper in both the layout and the stockings and also a few retired embellishments on the stockings.

Even though the layout uses some Christmas themed paper, it could be used for lots of different occasions.

I wanted to do something more than just cards this time so I put together a gift tag and a pillow box stocking using the Trim your stockings dies.

The card uses the Seasonal layers thinlits and Colorful Seasons stamp set along with some Wood textures designer series paper and the everyday label punch.

August Stamp Club Projects

This month's Stamp Club projects used both new and older products - the layout used some new designer series paper and a punch and the cards used stamp sets that have been around for awhile along with new designer series papers and dies.

The first card has a circle cut out of the Soft Sky layer using the Layering Circles thinlits and the chair is die cut from the Seasonal layers thinlits.  The stamp set I chose is called High Tide.

For the second card, we used Floral Phrases as our stamp set and some of the Fresh Florals designer series paper stack to go along with it.

Finally, the layout uses a Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper and the starburst punch along with some washi tape that is from the Soft Sayings card kit.
