Springtime Phrases

I guess I am carrying over the wedding theme from yesterday with the cards I am showing you today.  These are made with some of the Springtime Florals specialty paper from Sale-a-bration that I colored with Stampin' Blends.

For my sentiments I chose the Floral Phrases stamp set and I have highlighted the specialty paper with a layer of Gold Foil Paper beneath it.

I enjoyed playing around with different colors of Stampin' Blends for the flower images in this paper, I think the Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party/Bermuda Bay flowers are my favorite.

Supplies:
Floral Phrases
Wild Wasabi ink
Springtime Foils specialty paper
Stampin' Blends
So Saffron, Very Vanilla card stock
Gold Foil paper
doilies

August Stamp Club Projects

This month's Stamp Club projects used both new and older products - the layout used some new designer series paper and a punch and the cards used stamp sets that have been around for awhile along with new designer series papers and dies.

The first card has a circle cut out of the Soft Sky layer using the Layering Circles thinlits and the chair is die cut from the Seasonal layers thinlits.  The stamp set I chose is called High Tide.

For the second card, we used Floral Phrases as our stamp set and some of the Fresh Florals designer series paper stack to go along with it.

Finally, the layout uses a Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper and the starburst punch along with some washi tape that is from the Soft Sayings card kit.

We always have room for more in both the monthly stamp club and the virtual stamp club.  Contact me for more details!

A Special Note

There is a new stamp set in the upcoming catalog called Crafting Forever that has some really cute images and sentiments.  In the cards below, I chose to use the pens image and colored them in with the new In Colors.

The sentiment is from Floral Phrases and I also used the new Oh My Stars embossing folder on the background.

Supplies:
Crafting Forever, Floral Phrases
Basic Black, Fresh Fig, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink, Crushed Curry ink and markers
Basic Black, Whisper White, Powder Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst card stock

Floral Birthday

When I first saw the Floral boutique designer series paper in the catalog I wasn't sure I wanted to use it, I am not sure if it is because there aren't more colors in it or if it was for another reason.  Eventually I tried it out though because I really love the coordinating stamp set called Floral Phrases and now I am not sure why I didn't like it before, LOL!  I combined both the designer series paper and the stamp set on the birthday card below.

On the background I again used the Delicate Details (SAB 2017) stamp set and then added some flowers from the Floral Phrases set on the die cut label.  The sentiment is from the retired stamp set called Tin of Cards.

Supplies:
Tin of Cards, Floral Phrases, Delicate Details (SAB 2017)
Pool Party, Night of Navy ink
Pool Party, Night of Navy, Whisper White card stock

May Your Love

I was playing around with the Floral Phrases stamp set awhile back and came up with a few different ideas.  On this card, I paired it with the Falling in Love designer series paper and a lace doily.

I think I would probably use Tip Top Taupe or Crumb Cake for my sentiment layer next time instead of the Soft Suede so it doesn't look quite so dark.  The picture actually makes it look darker that it is if it is in your hand though.

I added a few basic pearls to complete the card as well.

Supplies:
Floral phrases
Sweet Sugarplum, Soft Suede ink
Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Pool Party card stock
lace doily

Your Love

The sentiment I used on this card I think could be used for both wedding and anniversary cards.  The stamp set is called Floral Phrases and I added some texture on my layers with the Happy Hearts folder and the Lovely Lace folder.

Each layer is also sponged with Soft Suede ink to make the textures pop out a little and add an aged look.

Supplies:
Floral Phrases
Pool Party, Soft Suede ink
Very Vanilla, Pool Party card stock
Lovely Lace folder
 Happy Hearts folder
In color doilies
basic pearls
banner triple punch

Wedding Gift Idea

Awhile ago, I shared a Christmas themed memory tray with you and promised to share another idea using the same type of tray.  This one is wedding themed, meant for the bride and groom to show off some pictures.

I chose to use the colors in the Blooms and Bliss designer series paper pack for the tray - Tip Top Taupe, Dapper Denim, Mint Macaron and Whisper White.

The different rectangles are decorated with the designer series paper along with the Floral Phrases and Birthday Blossoms stamp sets.

I added a few little embellishments using enamel dots, basic rhinestones, In color doilies, delicate doilies and some retired floral rhinestone embellishments that were just on the clearance rack.

Supplies:
Floral Phrases, Birthday Blossoms
Dapper Denim, Mint Mararon, Tip Top Taupe ink
Whisper White, Tip Top Taupe, Mint Macaron, Dapper Denim card stock
Blooms and Bliss dsp
note tag punch
basic rhinestones
enamel dots
delicate doilies
