My sentiment is from Well Said and I added a piece of Pressed Petals designer series paper to the side of the mat as well.

I love the colors in the Noble Peacock specialty paper as well as the embossed patterns.  I chose to use one of the patterns for this cards featuring the Beauty Abounds stamp set and Layering squares framelits.

I die cut some Smoky Slate card stock with the Layering Squares framelits for the top layer on the card.  The sentiment is from the retired Colorful Seasons stamp set and I added a few basic rhinestones for accents as well.

Happy as Today

I haven't used the Tropical escape designer series paper a whole lot so one day I was playing around with a couple of ideas.  For this card, I decided to pair it with the Colorful Seasons stamp set and coordinating Seasonal Layers thinlits (the beach chair).

To start with, I swiped my Bermuda Bay ink pad over some Whisper White card stock a few times adding color, but not making it even.  Then I added my sentiment and the beach chair.  The Happy Birthday comes from the Detailed with Love stamp set and the die cut it is stamped on is from the Stitched label framelits collection.

Supplies:
Detailed with Love, Colorful Seasons
Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy ink
Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide card stock
Wood textures dsp
Tropical escape dsp
Seasonal layers framelits
Stitched labels framelits

December Stamp Club Projects

In the spirit of the clearance rack and year end sale - this time around I chose to use some retired items for our stamp club projects.  I used several patterns of retired designer series paper in both the layout and the stockings and also a few retired embellishments on the stockings.

Even though the layout uses some Christmas themed paper, it could be used for lots of different occasions.

I wanted to do something more than just cards this time so I put together a gift tag and a pillow box stocking using the Trim your stockings dies.

The card uses the Seasonal layers thinlits and Colorful Seasons stamp set along with some Wood textures designer series paper and the everyday label punch.

Musical Seasons

There are so many beautiful samples using the Painted Harvest stamp set out there right now with lots of great colors and layouts.  I wanted to make one with the Sheet Music background stamp so I put this one together.

My flowers are stamped using Sweet Sugarplum and Fresh Fig ink with Crushed Curry centers.

I added a little linen thread behind the sentiment banner as well...

Supplies:
Painted Harvest, Sheet Music, Colorful Season
Sweet Sugarplum, Fresh Fig, Crushed Curry, Wild Wasabi, Soft Suede and Pear Pizzazz ink
Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Fresh Fig card stock
Linen thread
Banner triple punch

August Stamp Club Projects

This month's Stamp Club projects used both new and older products - the layout used some new designer series paper and a punch and the cards used stamp sets that have been around for awhile along with new designer series papers and dies.

The first card has a circle cut out of the Soft Sky layer using the Layering Circles thinlits and the chair is die cut from the Seasonal layers thinlits.  The stamp set I chose is called High Tide.

For the second card, we used Floral Phrases as our stamp set and some of the Fresh Florals designer series paper stack to go along with it.

Finally, the layout uses a Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper and the starburst punch along with some washi tape that is from the Soft Sayings card kit.

We always have room for more in both the monthly stamp club and the virtual stamp club.  Contact me for more details!

Miss You

I just love the chair image in the Colorful Seasons stamp set and wanted to use it on some miss you cards I needed to create.  The card is pretty simple, but I like the end result.

The falling leaves are stamped with Old Olive ink and I used Dapper Denim for the sentiment and part of the chair, along with Soft Suede.

Supplies:
Colorful Seasons
Dapper Denim, Soft Suede, Old Olive ink
Whisper White, Dapper Denim card stock

June Stamp Club Projects

This month, I used quite a bit of the new In Color called Berry Burst in the projects.  For the layout, I chose to pair Berry Burst with Powder Pink and the Color Theory designer series paper and Color Theory Memories and More pack.

The first card uses the Daisy Delight stamp set, Daisy Punch and Oh My Stars embossing folder along with an accent of 1/4" double stitched ribbon in Daffodil Delight.

Our second card uses the Wood textures designer series paper and Colorful Season stamp set.  The sentiment is stamped on a piece die cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits.

Each club member's layout looks slightly different since we used the Color Theory Memories and More cards and there aren't duplicates for that layouts but they look similar.

I always have room for more in both my Virtual Stamp Club (every other month) and my Monthly Stamp Club - contact me for more information if you are interested!

A Beautiful Thing

I again pulled out some leftover pieces that I didn't use on the graduation banner I shared a little while ago to make a couple cards using the Colorful Seasons stamp set.  I really love all the sentiments in this stamp set as well as the variety of image stamps.

The layered circles are cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits and the Circles framelits.  The bottom layer is also embossed with the Decorative Dots folder.  I chose a pattern from the Delightful Daisies designer series paper pack to go behind the layers and added a couple different types of ribbon to break up the pattern.

Supplies:
Colorful Seasons
Basic Gray ink
Very Vanilla, Basic Gray, Smoky Slate card stock
Delightful Daisies dsp
3/8" metallic ribbon (SAB 2017)
Vanilla satin ribbon
enamel dots
Stitched Shapes Framelits
Circles Framelits
Decorative Dots folder

Just Breathe

Today is the day!  You can now order from the new Catalog and Idea Book.  The card I have to show you today uses a new stamp set and designer series paper pack that I know you will love.

I chose to use the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack as the background and the Colorful Seasons stamp set for the sentiment and leaves.

I thought the doily added a nice accent and threw in a few basic pearls as well.

Supplies:
Colorful Seasons
Early Espresso, Wild Wasabi ink
Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Dapper Denim card stock
lace doily
Wood Textures dsp stack
basic pearls
