It is always fund playing with the Country Home stamp set.  Awhile ago I put together a few of these cards to have one hand that I can add a sentiment to at a later time.  

In the background I used some retired Wood Textures designer series paper and added a few Designer elements to finish the card off.

Two of You

This card uses both a sentiment and some image stamps from the Petal Palette stamp set.  On the base layer of Soft Sea Foam I used Soft Suede ink to stamp the leaves image once and then again without re inking it.

There is another image stamped with Sahara Sand ink on the Wood Textures designer series paper that you can barely see in the picture.  I also added a wood element that was a free gift in a Paper Pumpkin kit a year ago for a little extra pop.

Painted Sympathy

A couple of my favorite Sale-a-bration items are the Painted Seasons bundle and the Lasting Lily stamp set.  For the sympathy cards I am sharing with you today, I have combined them and created a couple different versions using the same focus piece.

I stamped the background of the card base and the sentiment layer with Petal Pink flowers and added some leaves in Call Me Clover on the sentiment layer.  For the sentiment, I used two different stamps in the Lasting Lily set.  On one card, I added some Pool Party card stock embossed with the Tin Tile folder and on the other I used some Wood Textures designer series paper along with the Painted Seasons paper.

Peace on Earth

Merry Christmas! I hope that you have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends.

I have another card to share with you using some of the same elements I did on one of my stamp club projects this month.  The tufted dynamic impressions folder is used on some Merry Merlot card stock for the background (I used gold foil in the previous card) and I have also added some Wood Textures designer series paper.

The tree this time is stamped with Garden Green ink on Whisper white (I stamped in on Tranquil Tide on the previous card) and I have added some rhinestones and a snowflake embellishment for accents.

Wishes Two Ways

I was playing with the Dandelion Wishes stamp set and Wood Textures designer series paper one day and came up with these two cards.  I think next time I would use a lighter shade background of the Wood Textures paper although when you look at the cards in person the images are easier to see than in the pictures.

For the first card I used some Chicken wire elements and baker's twine behind the layers and also added some frosted and clear epoxy droplets on some of the dandelion seeds.

The next card has a textured piece of Pool Party along with some retired designer series paper and cotton ribbon behind the stamped images.

The sentiment on this card comes from the Petal Palette stamp set.

Just a Note

I think this is one of my favorite cards that I have made with the Graceful Glass designer vellum. Again like I did on the other cards I have shown you, I added some Whisper White card stock behind the vellum to make the colors pop out.  This time my background is the Wood Textures designer series paper matted on some Basic Black card stock. 

My sentiment is stamped on a piece of Old Olive and comes from the Wishing You Well stamp set.

Flourishing Textures

When I created some sympathy cards using the Lovely as a Tree and Flourishing Phrases stamp sets, I wanted to stamp on some of the Wood Textures designer series paper.  To be honest, I am not completely satisfied with how the card turned out so I may play with the idea a little more another time.

Behind the Wood Textures I used some True Gentleman designer series paper with a predominantly Tranquil Tide color.  For an accent I used one of the wood elements that was included with the arch 2018 Paper Pumpkin as a free gift.  One side is wood and the other is white and colorable with the Stampin' Blends.

Mr. and Mrs.

I pulled out the Always and Forever stamp set again to make some wedding cards.  I chose some Wood textures designer series paper for the background and stamped some hearts with Cherry Cobbler ink on it.

The grass on the tree stump image is colored in with a Wild Wasabi marker and I added some hearts I punched out with the heart border punch to the stump and the sentiment.

I was playing with the Bethlehem edgelits dies again!  This time I used some Wood textures designer series paper behind the buildings as the background.  This time I used Tranquil Tide as my card base color and added a sentiment from Star of Light to the inside with Tranquil Tide ink.

More Stocking Tags

Recently I put together a lot of these fun Christmas stocking tags using all different types of Christmas designer series paper and embellishments.  These are a couple samples using the Quilted Christmas paper and some mini ornaments and Stitched felt embellishments.

I just cut a big pile of the pieces and started putting them together in an assembly line...it went faster than you might think!

I just love playing with this die cut from the Eclectic layers thinlits set.  This time it is cut from some Wood Textures designer series paper and has Naturally eclectic designer series paper behind it.  I added a few stamped images from the Oh So Eclectic stamp set on the Tranquil Tide background.

My sentiment is from the Milestone Moments stamp set and is stamped with Fresh Fig and

For a Special Couple

The card I am going to share with you today has a couple different layouts although they are very similar.  Each one uses the Wood Textures designer series paper  as a background and some Bundle of Love specialty paper as well as a doily and pearls.

The sentiments are from the Special Occasions stamp set and I also added some lace trim for more texture.
