Grand As You

I am still playing catch since we finished planting potatoes recently and are still in the process of getting rid of last year's crop as well.  I haven't had too much time to stamp so in the meantime as I try to keep the posts going, you will see projects from both the new and old catalog.

This card uses the True Gentleman designer series paper along with the Truly Tailored stamp set.  I added the color Basic Gray to the mix with a Stitched Shapes framelits circle and some shimmer ribbon from Sale-a-bration.

The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy ink and punched with the Tailored Tag punch.

Flourishing Textures

When I created some sympathy cards using the Lovely as a Tree and Flourishing Phrases stamp sets, I wanted to stamp on some of the Wood Textures designer series paper.  To be honest, I am not completely satisfied with how the card turned out so I may play with the idea a little more another time.

Behind the Wood Textures I used some True Gentleman designer series paper with a predominantly Tranquil Tide color.  For an accent I used one of the wood elements that was included with the arch 2018 Paper Pumpkin as a free gift.  One side is wood and the other is white and colorable with the Stampin' Blends.

Classic Guy

When you pair the Truly Tailored stamp set with its coordinating True Gentleman designer series paper and Tailored Tag Punch, it make it very easy to put together masculine cards.  I recently added this one to my Stamp a Stack rotation (I usually try to have at least one masculine card option in the bunch).

There are many different designs to choose from in the designer series paper pack and it always makes it hard to decide which one to use!

Epic

In the Sale-a-bration catalog, there is a stamp set called Epic Celebrations and it is one that I was drawn to right away because it can be used for teenager cards.  Having a couple of those in the house as well as several nieces and nephews we send cards to, that was a set that I wanted to get right away.

There are images of tennis shoes, a guitar and headphones as well as a couple sayings and a background type stamp.  I stamped the guitar on some Soft Suede card stock and then stamped it again on a scrap, cut it out and popped it up over the first stamped image.  There are also some images stamped into the Crumb Cake card base and a couple pieces of True Gentleman designer series paper on the card.

Epic Celebrations
Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Dapper Denim ink

Celebrate in Style

It is always fun to see new masculine stamp sets and papers, I never seem to have enough options for guy cards...The stamp set called Truly Tailored and designer series paper called True Gentleman are both in the Occasions catalog and are paired with the Tailored Tag Punch.

I added this card to my Stamp A Stack rotation recently and I think it will be a big hit.
